defense seems impossible. i always get switched to the wrong guy and bam they have dribbled right by the cpu defender.

^Fucking this. Also, it always seems there is a half second delay when switching defenders which gives the offense a step. Aggravating.

I've been steadily improving online. I started using a 4-5-1 and since everyone presses hard I've had tons of open space and boss the midfield. Kagawa and Mkhtaryan (sp?) are amazing.

seems like rb lb have gotten slower each year finnally now where every striker is significantly faster than my entire back 4. once they reach the back 4 i can just hope to buy time even if its 1 on 4 so that a 5th player can come tackle them from behind. its so easy to just work a back 4 in this game and keepers are useless once they touch the box.

i bet the guy i was playing against hates the game now because that was bullshit.

Is there a way to tell if a guy used cards? Does it show up on the pregame screen?

been in a real funk lately. got freaking relegated. Its like ever since i played a few tournaments and came back I've sucked. Can't figure out why. I lost five in a row at one point.

I'm good again! Feel like I finally figured out defense now I only give up scores on counter attacks which are brutal because cutbacks are nasty in this game.

Got a copy today for PS3. Bought it online from Best Buy last Friday for in-store pick-up at $29.99. Edit: Looks like Game Stop has them for $29.99 right now too.

I was still playing FIFA 2008. About time I moved on. I still love '08 but I wanted the new players/rosters.

I'm playing for the first time and am winning 6-0 at halftime against Man U. Costa has all 6 goals. Have no idea what difficulty level it is on.

Ok, it was beginner level which is basically retarded monkey level. Won 14-0 with 13 goals by Costa. But he wasn't the man of the match lol

Beginner is ridiculous. You could beat Chelsea or Bayern with a shitty juniors team.

I tried playing Man U with Team USA last week on Semi-Pro and they wrecked my shit. I couldn't generate any offense whatsoever.

I started Manager Mode last night on Professional. It's a lot to keep up with compared to '08, mainly the scouting. Is there a way to play through seasons and not have to do all of that? I'm okay with developing players but managing 5 individual scouts takes some time.

I played online once too last night. I payed with Chelsea but the team I played against seemed so much faster than me at every position. I think is was PSG. I lost 3-0 with 2 own goals. I was trying to steal the ball from a guy going to the goal by hitting X and I kicked it right into the goal.
