I'm assuming Lacey would play if this was a conference game or a tougher opponent. But clearly we don't need to risk him hurting himself further when we Gott this easy. He'll come in if it gets close.

Gott said in the post game that Lacey rolled his ankle pretty good in practice a couple days ago and Trevor obviously wanted in, but Gott didn't want it to swelling up again before the Wofford game.

Good timing for it to happen, though, and good game for Dez, Cody, and Abu to get a bunch of solid minutes. Thought they all made the most of it too.
