Beat UNCG 8-3 at home tonight. Fincher, Ratledge, Deathrage, DeJuneas all had good outings offensively. Stone was somewhat erratic as the starter while O'Donnell, Gilbert, and Olczak only allowed 3 hits, 1 walk, and 1 HBP over the last 5 2/3 innings.

To be fair...our guy got to third off of throwing error on a bunt (where he would have been out with a good throw) and then the ball caromed off the corner of the wall so he could get an extra base. A run on a passed ball would have been a ridiculous gift.

Good lord guys....bases loaded and no outs and we get nothing out of it. Lone run off of a solo shot to start the inning. Weird game.

Long story short: Solo HR ties it at 1 after 6

Long story: After the HR, FSU 3b commits back to back errors. We load the bases on bunts with 0 outs. Two pop flies and a line out gives no more runs.

Wilder's had good stuff before, but always seems to struggle with control - he looked really good tonight though.

Down 3-2 in the top of the 9th now, gonna be a bad one to drop if State doesn't come back. Missed on tons of opportunities with men on base and then FSU tied it & went ahead on a 2 out single after State loaded the bases on 3 HBP's.
