Ben, if you're playing Foles/Winston with Stafford/Cutler on your bench, then you've obviously got an interesting approach to the remainder of this season.

I think you should make it more interesting by giving me Stafford/Cutler in exchange for Manziel/McCown--and I also picked up Kaepernick for you, too.

I think it would be super fun for you, and it would very much benefit me, too. I want to compete, you know?

Why is there only a 6 team playoff? This is such bullshit. Blake Bortles had a career day and because of that I'm going to miss the playoffs by 5 points. My season total is ridiculously better than every single one of you, and I'm #1 in the league power ranking.

Unluckiest scheduling ever. 7 of us were tied 6-6 going into this week with only 3 of us able to get a playoff spot.#4, #5, and #6 teams all lost, to #10, #8, and #9.

sounds like you should have had a better year and not had to rely on one day to get you in or out.

I was the same way though...out for most of the year and just randomly had the team do well and squeak in.

Just how it goes if you're a middling team.

the two highest scoring teams in the league did not make the playoffs. This is the reason I think I might give up season long fantasy altogether and strictly play daily next year.

If we do a 2 QB system I'll need to look into limiting how many players can be on a roster, as said, per position.

Stick to this crazy high scoring system or revert to an older way?

2QB or bust. Maybe people will actually draft like it's a 2QB league this year. Also, don't mess with the bench spots. The league was set up just fine last year.

If you go 1QB, at least add a superflex position.

He drafted all the QBs in the first draft we had, and then after we scrapped the league and re-formed everything without him.. he snuck in again anyway and drafted every kicker. I think his team name was THE KICKER SUPERSTORE, team motto: We're open for business!!

Just do a standard ESPN league.

I think a draft party would be fun for those people who can make it. It makes the league more fun when you can put a name to a face (or vice versa really).

Pickled Onion in North Raleigh has been a good host for my leagues in the past so that's my vote. Also has a big outdoor space with lots of TVs. Might be able to get the man, myth, and legend Kev4Pack to play

Multiple IDP (1 DL and 1 LB/DB, or maybe 1 of all 3) would be cool. I still think a smaller bench would make things more interesting than 2 qbs.

You get someone with 4 qbs and one of your QB's go down, you basically have no chance of winning the league, especially when the bench is 8 spots deep

I liked the 2 QB league. Adds an extra layer of strategy and with the excess of high scoring QBs in the NFL, single QB leagues aren't as much fun. A guy like Rivers who could be a fringe starter in a 10 team league is gold as a #2 in a 2QB, 10 team league.

Also IDP is great too. Standard leagues are boring as shit and you can sign up for a free public league if that is your thing.

Last year we did 2QB and the league was super competitive. I enjoyed it.

that's not the case at all though. A few of us realized that QBs are the most important position in a 2QB system and stocked up, but the ones that didn't also refused to trade for QBs with anything other than garbage. The issue wasn't hoarding; the issue was improperly valuing players based on standard 1QB yahoo rankings.
