^ Only if Clemson is completely looking ahead to next weekend. We made fucking Brendan Motely look like an All-American, same dude that got owned by the Miami defense that Watson/Clemson just dropped 58 on.

To pull major upsets, the underdogs usually need to force a bunch of turnovers and rip off a lot of big plays. Our defense has zero ability to force TOs, especially against a Heisman type QB, and Clemson's defense is stout so big plays are unlikely. This has the makings of a very game.

^Exactly. I personally think Bambard shouldn't see any more playing time this year anyway, but if he does start for some inexplicable reason, the first time he misses something (aka the first fieldgoal attempt, or the first PAT attempt with penalty yards added) it needs to be all Maples the rest of the way. I don't give a damn if he's not accurate, neither is Bambard and Maples has a much stronger leg.

I'll be there, though I'm a little annoyed at the thought of potentially driving 2.5 hours to watch an ass-kicking in the wrong direction, then turning around and driving 2.5 hours home in a terrible mood. But I'll be there.

I don't know anything about kicking in high school, but bambard was only 4/14 as a junior, and 11/18 as a senior. High school has wider posts right? Or does it only change from college to pro?

Can't find anything about maples except a highlight of a 60 yarder

Think the knock on Maples is that all of his kick are line-drives and super low. Also, if they had an entire offseason, and Maples couldn't beat out Bambard...that should tell you how good he is a kicking FGs. Hell didn't Bambard kick a kickoff out of bounds against Wake?

Something tells me Bambard is great in practice/workouts, but think he struggles with in-game kicking with pressure and what-not.
