Yeah, I'd keep Gurley too. Could probably get Gronk back in Round 1 if you have a high pick.

What are everyone's thoughts on the 3rd tier of RBs? The non early guys or dudes coming off injuries/suspensions that could be going higher.

This area:
Eddie Lacy
Doug Martin
C.J. Anderson
Matt Forte
Thomas Rawls
Jonathan Stewart
Carlos Hyde
DeMarco Murray
Latavius Murray

Anyone seeing any of these guys pushing top 5 RB status? Everyone scared from Lazy and CJA last year? Believing in Forte in the new uniform? Ok with JStew, Hyde, and Latavius's injury history?

Are all in on picking up Ware?

I saw that Charles and Charizard will still get carries the first game, sounds like a RBBC.

AP or Gurley?

AP isn't even a top-3 back in most "expert" mocks this season

Ok fine, he's barely a top-3 back according to everyone but ESPN. ESPN is always right.

claiming a rookie as an expert concensus top 3 pick is ludicrous. AP may tote the rock north of 350 times this season if he stays healthy; that's tough not to draft first overall in a standard league.

What do you think about this trade (full point PPR league)?

Give up:
Jordy Nelson
Josh Gordon

Get:
Keenan Allen
Julian Edelman

i would probably not do that trade.

but it's not a terrible trade. nelson & gordon > allen and edelman, but you're only getting 12 games out of gordon.

[Edited on September 6, 2016 at 9:49 AM. Reason : nelson is the #1 guy in GB. gordon is a top 5 talent when he has his shit together]

Yeah, other guy is making ridiculous one sided offers, so this was a counter option. I figure Nelson & Allen would be a wash, but I'm more intrigued by the upside of Gordon.

although i do love edelman in a PPR league. sumbitch will average like 9 catches a game.

yeah i agree about Edelman in PPR. he seems like a safe bet in PPR and Gordon is obviously a pretty big question mark. but Gordon does have plenty of potential.

He looked much improved for the preseason and I grabbed him in like the 10th round when it was all handcuffs and upside bets left anyway

Was offered Golden Tate and Travis Kelce for Keenan Allen and Zach Miller

My other receivers are Mike Evans, Brandin Cooks, Devante Parker and Travis Benjamin. My other TE is Jared Cook. Thoughts?

i think the Broncos D is good enough to basically be a must start every week until proven otherwise.

^I'd do that. You get the better WR and a Cook/Miller combo probably won't be much of a drop off from Kelce.

I'd be much more worried about starting Cam/Benjamin than the Denver D.

It's the other way round - I would be giving up Keenan Allen and Miller and getting Golden Tate and Kelce.

I agree I think Allen/Miller is slightly better than Kelce/Tate, but I know both Allen and Miller seem to be injury prone...

is it PPR? i think tate has a lot of upside in a PPR league. he'll probably lead the lions in receptions (but probably not yards). wouldn't surprise me to see him get 100 receptions on the year.

kelce is a proven commodity. miller played well for half a season last year, but had been been a non-factor as a young player in jacksonville, then missed 3 whole seasons. he's 31. it wouldn't surprise me if he gets hurt again, or if the end of last season was just a fluke. also jared cook is terrible. he catches passes about as well as a one armed quadriplegic.

still, it's hard to give up on allen. he was having a hell of a year last year before he got injured.

in conclusion, this is an interesting trade. i have no idea.

alright guys, game week, who should I start at my W/R/T flex (no-PPR):

Christine Michael vs. Mia
Vincent Jackson @ Atl
Jonathan Stewart @ Den
Matt Jones vs. Pit

I've got Michael penciled in now

I guess the question is when you have a QB and defense against each other, and considering both are top ranked, is it ok to have them both in the lineup or should one of them be replaced?

My backup QB is Jameis Winston, next best WR option is Crabtree. I don't have a backup D, but the Vikings are available for pickup against the Titans this week.

^^ Agree, Michael

^ Playing Cam and the Denver D at the same time doesnt give you the best chance to win. Yes they could both do well but statistically its unlikely. Winston is no slouch against ATL and the game could be a shootout so I would think hard about playing him instead.

Yeah I'm not sure I'd start a QB on the road @Denver the first week, even Super Cam. The problem with this scenario is that you have 3 guys in one game, and the odds are if 2 do well the other isn't going to do well.

Maybe I'm crazy but I'd probably roll the Denver D(have to after the SB and seeing as Olsen is a bit banged up and didn't play in the preseason), Winston, and Benjamin.

I keep picking at the end of the 1st round(solid year last year), I just can't seem to avoid taking Le'Veon early in the 2nd.

So far I have him on 2/3 of my team and I have 2 more drafts tonight with similar draft spots. Someone talk me out of taking him and DeA haha.

i think early 2nd is too high for a guy who at most is going to play 3/4 of the games.
