The thing about non-clown programs is when they dont show up to start a game they can usually adjust and, if not get back into the game, at least make it respectable...taking a 20 point early blowout down to 10 or so. UNCs game against Tennessee this year as an example

When we don't show up the absolute best you can hope for is that they trade baskets the rest of the way and go even with a team that is playing at about 70% effort and goofing off

This game in a nutshell is why our offensive system sucks.

You're asking your bigs to be the main playmakers. Bigs are historically awful playmakers. No way Abu, Anya, etc should be the ones trying to make plays.

Plus by clogging the lane with big guys, our actual playmakers (guards) have no driving lanes.

It might've worked back in the Wooden days, but it sure as hell doesn't in today's college game. At least not against good teams.
