How could we look bad against Clemson, terrible against Notre Dame, amd then we beat Duke??? I can't figure it out. Great game by Keatts and the boys, fought hard all game. Batts gave us a huge spark and Beverly helped seal the deal. Yurtseven was the man tonight.

Internally, I was so defeated when they had to bring it in with 2 on the shot clock—like ready to chalk up the lead to a loss and switch to football. But on the outside, I was all, “Alright, guys, just catch and shoot. You got this!”

And then I completely lost my mind.



Also, Braxton Beverly is the man and definitely my favorite player.

So glad to see Yurtseven step up to those Duke bigs. Those guys should be embarrassed how much protection they get from the refs, and with all that talent, they seemed to spend most of the game standing on the blocks waiting to get fouled. I feel kinda bad for Grayson Allen, too. I think he’s a different player than what K’s system supports. Regardless, Batts shut him down.

Lennard Freeman is the best.

Anyway, awesome game. I love this team.

I mean it’s not like we were just on fire nailing random ass shots. We ran good offense. We were patient and we pounded the ball inside.

I’d have to look at the stats but we only had like 4 threes all game. Didn’t take many either. Our guards didn’t shoot us out of the game though and our bigs (the same guys who got killed at Clemson and ND) outplayed two NBA guys in Bagley and Carter.

I suppose I could have been more clear, but since my point was that we weren’t just getting lucky making shots we don’t normally make, I was obviously talking about how many we made. This was in response to someone saying the difference this game was that we mde shots. I guessed 4. Turns out we made 5.

This is great and all, but we could also possibly lose out. That's just how it goes. Any win in Coach Kreetz first year is a nice surprise. But so's next year when we have another new team after we lose all these transfers and Yurt7.

Ehh, we ain’t losing out. But you’re right. This remains a rebuild season. It’s a super win but probably doesn’t change much in terms of expectations the rest of the way.

And the transfers we lose this year - Al Freeman and Sam Hunt - will be replaced by better transfers...Bryce and Daniels. But yes. Next years team will also have plenty of new faces and question marks.
