Harry Statham (born May 29, 1937) is a former American basketball coach. He is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Basketball Hall of Fame. His 1,122 wins during his 52 seasons at McKendree University of Lebanon, Illinois, are the most by any men's or women's basketball head coach at a four-year college or university in the United States. This includes any and all levels or divisions of the NCAA and NAIA.

Basically, they shoved him out the door last year, even though he had been the coach for longer than many of them had been alive. Its total bullshit, kind of like what was done to Bobby Bowden.

I was hoping he would still be active when he was passed.

Them losing their star guard has a bigger impact on them vs us because both Braxton and Markell gets good playing time. Still don't think Duke should of lost to a Syracuse team that lost to old Dominion but come on Syracuse was playing out of their minds. The 3/4 court shot that Hughes hit towards the end of the half is an indicator of that. Syracuse performance last night was like the performance that state would have once a season under lesser coaches. Good performance but it's an outlier. Boeheim ceiling with this Syracuse team is sweet-16.
