4.2 YPC vs 5.1YPC last year for Gordon. Ekeler is barely at 3YPC between the tackles - all of his success is based on bouncing to the outside, which is good for yardage but not good for grinding out the clock when you have a lead. The Chargers have led at halftime in all 3 games and needed overtime for their only win so far this season.

And Trent Scott wasn't LT last year. And those late game issues stem more from the defense just lacking depth because of injuries. They're down like 2 CBs and 2 all-pro safeties right now.

Ekeler averaged 5.2 ypc last year. Also last year was an outlier for Gordon. He'd never even averaged 4 ypc in the 3 previous years.

Obviously when Gordon gets back up to full speed he'll be the lead back, but I think the timeshare will be closer than you think. I'd say they'll try and get Gordon ~15 touches and Ekeler ~ 10. Gordon isn't anything special in the red zone, he is basically league average on goal line carries and Ekeler is much more dangerous as a receiver.

You're valuing Gordon as like a top 5 RB and I'm not and that's ok.

But whatever, this isn't really a discussion for a fantasy thread anymore.

It's a keeper league with a big bench. Funny thing is, Brady wasn't even drafted in this league. I haven't played Kyler yet but don't really need his bench spot at this point.

Ahh. Yeah I optically wouldn't draft him in an 8 team league. Of course in an 8 team league I probably would never carry multiple QBs, except as a bye week fill in, but that's just me. I don't even start thinking about 2 unless it's a 12+ team league.

Of course I tend to overthink matchups rather than just playing the better player so part of the reason I roll with 1 QB is to eliminate that at 1 position. The other reason is I'm greedy and need all the RB/WR I can smash onto a roster.

Had a tie in my ESPN league last weekend. ESPN still gave me the win for some reason. But did some digging and realized that ESPN just shows the rounded score to one decimal place. If you hover over your score on the box score page it reveals your point total to two decimal places. Only QB really uses the 2 decimal places, and that's where I won (my score was rounded down, opponent's was rounded up).
