Hermosa did a good job handling Cunane and our shot selection wasn't good. Got basically shut out from the 3 point arc (again). Disappointing loss but we're still No. 10. Hopefully we come back strong from this, figure out how to get rebounds and make 3s, and not lean on Cunane like a crutch and we'll be good soon.

As a side note, anyone know why Hobby played so much? Was it just to mix things up?

Looks like the Louisville beating carried over...lost to middle of the conference GT team and then needed a go-ahead shot with 2 seconds left to defeat bottom-dweller Miami.

Just need one more win to clinch #2 in the conference, but we need all three plus a deep ACCT run to stay a top-2 seed in the NCAA (currently projected as a 3).

Plus...still miraculously only one game behind Louisville. We should have been able to beat both UNC and GT, and those losses collectively cost the team the top spot.

Duke's style of play took us down this time, after nearly doing us in last time.

We struggle to get rebounds; Duke got lots of rebounds. We (aside from a select few players) struggle on 3 pointers; they guarded the paint pretty well. They got a lot of points on quick passes right under the basket on missed guarding positions, etc.

If our team can rebound better, guard gimmicks inside the paint, and work on the team's consistency at 3 pointers, we'd be unstoppable. But we've gotten in a bit of a slump since the Louisville loss and it seems like we don't really have the same grit we had before.

Not to beat a dead horse but the game was a bit sloppy tonight. We won 69 ( ) to 60 but there were lots of near-turnovers and messy looking plays. If Syracuse's offense was better it could've gone the other way.

Either way, hoping we can make a solid run in the ACCT. The team looked better against a tough defense, not flummoxed, so they are improving with it, just looked a little bit sloppy.

Just so happens to be right around the time UNC-Ch started their sham classes. They eventually won 8 conference championships during this 29 year span. They only won one prior to this.

In conclusion, UNC-CH cheating scandal probably gave Kay cancer.

Also, Congrats to the women! This was the first ACC championship I ever witnessed as a State fan in the big 4 sports. Was great to see!
