I don't really care about NFTs; I just want to flip it and make a profit.

If I am unable to sell it or sell it in a loss, I will lose max what I paid for it: $150. I don't mind because just a few days ago I bought some tokens of a new coin at its IDO, and it did 10x within half an hour of launch, so I sold half of my tokens. Now it is sitting at 20x.

P.S. I do wish I had gotten Castro, Trump, Obama, or Clinton, though! (you can't choose; the system randomly mints one for you)

It’s stupid how much electricity it takes to run the system, but the idea of an open source database to track ownership of assets, that anyone can use, is sound. It’s a necessary part of the future.

It’s like owning a plot of land but digitally. There’s cryptos too that have built in mechanisms for like basic income or to deter wealth hoarding. I’m a big fan and proponent of fiat currency because we should be controlling money, it’s a tool for society to use. This is one of my personal gripes about crypto, it has no federal reserve to try and avoid major problems, but there’s people working to solve this problem.

Tl;dr crypto is kinda dumb, but it won’t always be dumb. Ppl are going to solve these problems hopefully and there’s compelling reasons to believe it will eventually be better than reserve backed currencies for societal purposes.

Here’s an example of what crypto allows. Since it’s a generalized universal way of assigning ownership this company used that quality to create a crypto pawn shop that is automated by smart contracts.
