Serious question. Why do the majority of bums congregate and camp in urban areas? Shouldn't it be easier to avoid harassment and spread out in more rural areas?

south saunders was bad for awhile, i couldnt even pump gas without harassment

Once the City shut down the Capital/540 bum camp, all of those bums packed up their shanties and up pushed their shopping carts full of belongings down the road to the Saunders/40 bum camp in what was known as The Trail of Beers. Rumor has it over 200 bums made the 10 mile trek down Capital/401 (they also just cleared out that camp a couple of months ago)
