i thought in this thread somewhere someone copied and pasted what you needed...

like a copy of the driver's license/id of the original buyer and the last 4 digits on credit card

your best bet is to call them and see what they say

^ lol. any specific person at the orange peel people talked to before? i was kind of busy at lunch today only got to call 2x but it seems like I need to actually just pick someone to talk to specifically to not be stuck with automated stuff. trying to see if someone talked to someone previously that was helpful

Quote :
"ATTENTION SCALPERS – and folks buying tickets from scalpers.

TICKETS TO THE SMASHING PUMPKINS RESIDENCY AT THE ORANGE PEEL ARE
NON-TRANSFERABLE!

The PURCHASER (and Guest, if two tickets were purchased) will pick up the tickets the Night of Show and then be directed IMMEDIATELY into the club where tickets will be torn and fans will be stamped and wrist-banded. There will be no re-entry for these shows.

PURCHASER may give the second ticket (if available) to whomever he chooses, but PURCHASER's ticket may only be used by PURCHASER. Any attempt by PURCHASER to hand off his/her ticket will result in the ticket being confiscated and the PURCHASER banned from the club. Scalping is illegal in North Carolina. Tickets may be sold for face value and a small handling fee (generally set at or below $3/ticket). This show was intended to bring a great show to fans, not to enrich a few lucky people with fast internet connections. If you are purchasing scalped tickets, be very careful. Buyer beware! These folks are in it for the money, so be VERY sure you can actually get into the show.

Our normal ticket-transfer rules DO NOT apply to this show, as we made very clear before the shows went on sale. The residency tickets were sold under different rules – the Orange Peel typically allows fans to transfer tickets to friends, but NOT FOR THESE SHOWS.

We understand there were lots of disappointed fans and we don't want to have these folks come to the club expecting to see a phenomenal show only to find out they've been ripped off. The Orange Peel cannot take responsibility for folks who've been conned. We do not want you to be disappointed again, but we absolutely will not make exceptions to this non-transferable policy.

yea i just wrote her and, as politely as i could, told her that their policy is BS. I wont copy and paste the entire thing (/wall of text). But the biggest part was basically:

Quote :
"In a sense I feel that the scalpers are only ending up $20 short with nothing else lost (or in some cases they might have made money completely unethically and illegally), while a true fan like myself (who spent ALL day on ticketweb on May 20th - from 30 mins before the sale until the final announcement was made that they were being shut down for the night and was also online at 7pm the next sales day) is the one actually getting punished - with a ticket that is going to get wasted, and a fan sitting at home. I understand WHY this policy is in place, but at this point in the game I feel it is the fans getting hurt. For everyone's sake, I do hope that the policy preemptively scared away as many scalpers as possible (as they are part of the reason I didnt get my ticket initially), but beyond that hope of scaring away as many as possible initally, the policy does not hurt the scalpers, just the fans. "

my friend who cannot attend only has 1 ticket and hes from texas so it looks like he'll be at home and ill be at home as well with a ticket getting wasted unless the orange peel is any help.

I had to email her about mine because I used my dads credit card for them since I dont have a real credit card to use, and they said I just need to have a copy of his ID, credit card and note saying im allowed to pick them up and it would be ok, but only because we are related and have the same last name, and its a pretty obscure last name, nothing like smith, so it wont be difficult to tell. I think only 3 other families (not related to me that we know of) have the same last name as us.

I don't mean to sound like a dick, but I don't think this policy is "BS" at all. For the most part, it completely fucks scalpers which is perfectly fine with me.

That being said, I really hope CalledToArms gets in for the show b/c I know he was trying just as hard as I was to score tix.

thanks man, and no i dont really think its BS completely (unfortunately for them its near impossible to pick apart situations like mine and real scalpers) and you dont sound like a dick, i mean i understand what their purpose was for originally making this statement (to scare off scalpers). im just upset

just like usual tho, greedy people gotta screw stuff up, and its always the 'regular' people that get screwed over because of it.

Along with some deal to preorder Zeitgeist with an exclusive bonus track and a code for a presale for tix for the still-unannounced full US tour.

i think is album is going to be #4 in line.....

1. siamese dream
2. gish
3. mellon collie (although if you compile 2 disks into 1 GREAT disk this could be 2)
4. zeitgeist

im basing this off of everything ive heard on the new able from the live shows...

Doomsday Clock is really really too polished for me, vocalwise. There' one part in there where it just FEELS like there should be a strained scream, and it's wholly disappointing.

the music is meh, too.

Tarantula is fucking incredible. Great guitar work.

^^, man... am I the only one that thinks that Adore is a fucking great album?

I'm probably going to get killed for this, but I put Adore over Gish and damn close to Siamese Dream. I loved that album.

"Tear", "Ava Adore", "Annie Dog", "Behold! The Night Mare", "Pug", etc etc etc.

That was such an underrated album.

it's all subjective, mang. Honestly, once you get past #11, they're all really damn close for me. "Mayonaise" is a fantastic song though, as is "Crush"... it was hard having both of those come in that low on my list.

I would like to see other folks lists if they have time.
