the other thing i wanted to do is to establish some possible criteria for when people either become regular tdubbers, or start to drift away. something like if you average X posts over Y days, you are a regular. and you could monitor the count of people over time to see how the community grows and contracts

i'm pretty sure i've done something like this before, but i'd like to set it up in an automatic way so that i can identify things like when new users start to get hooked
