^^ I like Forte better than Parker in that matchup. Philly's run D is pretty stout and Forte has put up great numbers for two weeks in a row. Very consistent. No reason why he won't continue on Tampa's D.

Can't believe I'm even asking this, haha.

Start 2: (* means current starter)

K. Smith vs. SF *
T. Jones vs. SD *
LT vs. Jets
J. Lewis vs. Balt.
S. Morris vs. Miami

I typically always go LT, but he is aggravating me with the whole saying he's 100% and then getting like 5-10 carries.

I would definetly play LT if he starts... I have a feeling he's going to go out with the intentions of shutting up his critics this week. You definitely dont want him to be on your bench if/when he goes off. Plus you used the 1st or 2nd pick on him for a reason, I wouldnt bail out already.

And I dont know how Kevin Smith and Jamal Lewis' numbers compare so far this season, but Smith is splitting time with Rudi while Jamal is the main man in Cleveland. Plus, Jamal is playing his old team this week, so he probably has a chip on his shoulder.

And, pick two RB:

Joseph Addai vs. Jax *
Earnest Graham @ Chi *
Felix Jones @ GB
LenDale White vs. Hou
Chris Perry @ NYG

*current starter

is Felix worth a shot this week, or should I stick with Graham?

^^i like Lewis this week as a darkhorse pick...former team...expect big things

I played Culpepper last year for Oakland against the Dolphins who had cut him earlier in the preseason...and he had 5 total TDs...thats the type of revenge factor game i'm looking for from Lewis (not 5 TDs...but 100+ and a score)

Ryan Grant's always a good option, and Dallas's D gave up chunks of yards last game. I'd say he's the "sure thing," even though he didn't do much last week and has a sore hamstring.

Bush is a question mark, Perry's in an offense that is tripping over itself, and Stewart will again be behind DeAngelo (at least at the start of the game.)

Ray Rice is an interesting one though ... I've been trying to pick him up in my league since week one. I'd say go with Grant, but Rice could have a big day.

Lookin like Rice and the FB for Baltimore will get the bulk of the carries.

Grant/Rice?

I'm holding off on Grant till after this week. I'm hoping it turns into a shoot out and they don't need to use him much and he can get some rest, but I don't like this matchup or him really against anyone with his current health.

Yeah, I have to disagree with a lot posted on this page.

Forte >> Parker this week.

Luda:
LT is a start always unless he is hurt. Watch the injury report as long as you can afford before you make the decision to sit him. With that said, I pick healthy players over potential "3-carries" players.

Kevin Smith has 100 yards and a TD, While Jamal Lewis has 100 yards. They're both crippled by poor team play. Lewis could have revenge on his mind, but behind and inept O-line...will it matter? And Kevin Smith seems poised (if you watch him run) for a breakout performance any game now, if only the Lions would stay in the game long enough to let him run. I call it a draw, with Lewis' hamstring and ankle injuries giving the nod to Kevin Smith. (Rudi Johnson had 1 carry last week, 3 the first week, nothing indicates that will change).

The real question is Kevin Smith or Thomas Jones IMO.

If LT can't go or is less than 100%, I'd start Smith and Jones. Otherwise, I'd start LT and Jones/Smith.

Also, I too am holding off on Ryan Grant until he shows me something. He's not 100% as his 20 yards on 15 attempts last game showed. In fact, he only has 110 yards in two games, and 57 of those came in one play. That's a pretty paltry rushing average minus that one play. What's happened to my Grant of last year?

JT O'Sullivan is playing the Lions. Is he worth starting over Favre, Rivers, Schaub, or Warner?

How would you guys rank those 5 QBs because those are the ones I have on my teams?

[Edited on September 19, 2008 at 12:37 PM. Reason : ^I am choosing T Jones over Ray Rice and Sproles right now]

He said teams, maybe he has 4 teams with those 4 as his starters and is considering starting O'Sullivan over any of them. Or maybe he is an idiot.

I'd rank them like this

1. Rivers/Warner
2. Warner/Rivers
3. Favre
4. O'Sullivan/Schaub
5. Schaub/O'Sullivan

basically i like rivers and warner the most...favre is my undisputed 3rd...then JT and Matt are a little lower

^^I'm in the same situation. I've started Warner every week and I've been just fine. Until Warner starts sucking it up, I'm sticking with him. I still just don't see Philip putting up those kind of numbers every week.

Seattle D vs St Louis

Forte vs Tampa Bay
or
Addai vs. Jax

Colts are probably getting Saturday and Clark back, but Ugoh is out at left tackle and Peyton not being able to run the stretch play still hurts.

Thinking I should sit Addai and see how things go this week before I start him. Other RB is Westbrook.

^^I like Cotchery and Seattle D

Unless something drastically changes with the Chargers D and Cromartie stops sucking ass, farve will be throwing all day on them.

St louis.....enough said

^that one is tough, gonna leave that one alone

I really have no idea who to play at this point beside Portis...

Should I maybe take a flyer on Bush or Jackson? I really dont have any confidence in Ocho Stinko and Moss for that matter.

QB's are less than stellar, not really leaning towards one or the other
QB Jon Kitna or Dereck Anderson

WR:

WR Randy Moss
WR Chad Johnson
W/R Santonio Holmes

RB:

RB Clinton Portis
RB Edgerrin James

TE:
TE Chris Cooley

bench:

RB Jamal Lewis (playing his old team but he is nicked up a bit)
RB Michael Bush
RB Brandon Jackson

WR Derrick Mason

TE Greg Olsen

Choose 1:

Michael Bush vs. Buffalo
Ryan Grant vs. Cowboys
Lendale White vs. Houston

Bush will probably start but Bills run defense is stout. Grant is "probable" but that hamstring concerns me, plus Dallas' d is pretty damn good. And Lendale should at least get one touchdown.

Any suggestions?

I'm torn on my quarterback situation.

Drew Brees or Aaron Rogers?

Brees usually puts up good numbers and Denver gives up big yardage and scores, but Colston's still out. Rogers has looked good so far but I'm not sure how he'll do against the Cowboys. They're both projected for the same numbers in my league.

I'm also not sure still between Devery Henderson and Vincent Jackson for my WR3 spot.

Who should I start between Earnest Graham and Darren Sproles? Marion Barber is my other RB. My league gets 0.5 pts per reception, 1 pt per 20 yds rushing, and return td but not yards.

Pick 2:

DeSean Jackson Vs. Pittsburgh
Lee Evans Vs. Oakland
Eddie Royal Vs. New Orleans

I'm leaning toward Royal, but not sure about the 2nd receiver.

A.P.
McFadden
Michael Bush
Julius Jones

And, I have Big Ben, but with him being beat up a bit, I have VERY BRIEFLY thought about starting Collins, my backup. Any ideas?

Start 2:

Chris Johnson vs. Hou
Matt Forte vs. TB
LT vs. NYJ
Jamal Lewis vs.Bal
Johnathon Stewart vs. Min

Minnesota has a sick run D so I think Stewart is out of the question. I have Chris Johnson and Matt Forte starting right now.

Chris Johnson and LT if he plays.

If no LT, I would go with Forte as well...but I am really feelin' a garbage TD and ~60-70 combo yards for Jamal Lewis in this one.

My running back situation is kind of nuts.

AP
Larry Johnson,
Ryan Grant
Chris Johnson
Michael Turner

Grant and AP have drive train issues. LJ has fallen off. I'm pretty much waiting on ESPN to let me know what AP is going to do. If he plays I'm going AP, Johnson, and Turner. Till Grant is back healthy getting carries or Johnson turns back into the force from 2 years ago.

I'm in the AP injury boat, so pick 2 RBs:

AP vs. Carolina
Sammy Morris vs. Miami
Maroney vs. Miami (questionable too though)
Jonathon Stewart vs. Minn
Michael Bush vs. Buffalo

I guess if AP is injured it would be Morris and Bush? Morris and Stewart? Stewart and Bush?

*sigh...thoughts?

(maybe if i had cotchery still in the line up, but steve smith has just sent him to the bench)

^tough call...I'd say Brees

is it weird that I have Chester Taylor and Sproles on the bench of all my fantasy teams, but I dont have LT or AP on any of my teams?

I like Michael Bush as a potential flex this week

also apparently Jonathan Stewart isnt a great blocker and thats why Deangleo is still the 1st stringer
