wtf, why are so many t-dubbers talking about rushing the court when we beat uncch. we haven't even played MARYLAND yet and neither they or uncch will role over for us. one game at a time.

UNC has a worse ACC and overall record than we do. Why would we rush the court if we beat them. If anything UNC fans should rush the court if they beat us in February. haha.

Also, UNC will have a full 5-6 days to rest up before our game on Tuesday.. and they will be hearing about the 3L streak the whole time.... gotta think they're gonna be motivated & well prepared.

Like I said in another thread, UMD's 2-3 zone has made us look completely retarded the past few times we've played them. I'm sure they're going to have it going full-force this weekend. The difference this year is that

1. Degand and Javi should be able to penetrate through it.
2. Wood can shoot over the top of it.
3. Howell and Tracy can make them pay on the offensive glass. That's the biggest problem with zones -- they cause a lot of easy offensive rebounds/putbacks.

We'll see.

I wonder if Degand could guard Grevis. Degand did well against Scheyer last night and while Grevis is quicker than Scheyer, Degand is quicker than just about everyone on the court.

Honestly even if Grevis goes off, as long as we can keep other fuckers like Milbourne and Hayes from dropping 20 as well, we should be able to make it a game.

i think at least 30 or more students should be medically treated for broken bones and lost limbs in a post game stampede as well for it to not be weak. and at least 3 players out for the year due to injuries from the rush.

Scheyer hasn't even been that good in the ACC.

He is shooting 36.6% from the field and 27.5% from 3. That is borderline awful.

To this point in the ACC, he's probably the 5th or 6th best PG.

Considering that one of those one of those 3s was on a completely broken play that allowed Scheyer to be wide open, I'd say that Degand did a great job. We played Duke physical and thankfully the refs for the most part left us get away with it.

^^ The refs did not let us get away with it- were you watching for the first and second halves where we got over ten fouls in each and their free throw shooting was the only thing that kept them in the game?

About the Duke fan's article, I've always found it more effective to shout clever insults at specific players as an individual. For example, making fun of Clemson's Young for being shorter than the refs, whoever that guy on Virginia is for having a really fucked up haircut, and Zoubeck for looking like he lives in a homeless shelter with no provisions for shaving- these are not things that could be effectively coordinated with others as a chant.

This might've already been posted, but did anyone see Mr. Wolf crowd surfing on TV? It was about halfway through the second half and he nearly fell on my head- I've never seen anything like it at a State game. The crowd was great at the game especially the students, it's a good thing we were winning the whole time so no one could be discouraged and quiet down.
