As the details are emerging on the contract, it isn't nearly as bad as the numbers seem because there isn't any real money in the deal.

Basically, they owe McNabb a guaranteed 10 mill next year and could get rid of him as early as the end of next season only owing that on the contract. The rest of the guaranteed money is backloaded to a point where he will never be on the roster to see it.

Not a bad idea to pay him for 1, maybe 2, years and draft a QB this year to sit and learn until McNabb is done.

I am happy Ben Roethlisberger got jacked like he did. And his post game interview confirmed just how much of a lying, arrogant douche he is. I don't remember his exact words, but he basically claimed Seymour hit him for no reason and he didn't say anything to provoke it. That is so ridiculous, because there is no way someone punches someone else in the face for no reason whatsoever. If I recall correctly - Ground caused fumble is where a hit from a defensive player knocks you into the ground and the ground hitting the ball causes it to become loose.

Here, Manning dove forward and fumbled the ball of his own accord - ground causing it or not, he had it and then lost control of it - without being touched by a defender
