I'm pissed overall but it is hard to be mad at our guys with Brown out. We played crappy but I didn't expect much else with him out. But the thing is, we already lost 2 games without a good excuse earlier in ACC play so we're running out of games to "give." That's really all I am frustrated about tonight.

Leslie bobled an easy pass that would have made it a one point game with 5 seconds to go.

We rely on Wood getting a 3 when everyone knows the play is being run for wood. That's the stuff that lowe always did.

I just hope Zo is OK, he's crutial to our success this year.

brown honestly wasnt having a great game before he went down and his biggest asset is running up fastbreak points. that wasnt going to happen in this game and as poor as lewis has played to date he was fine. obviously the game wouldnt have played out the same and i'd take our numba one stunna any day but there's really no guarantee we win it with him

Lweis proved that he is semi-servicable against a bad PG. I just want him to be able to play 8-12 minutes per game without being a liability.

We also HAVE to get more scoring out of Warren and Purvis. We know what we get out of CJ, Rich, and Brown. Wood is so hit or miss depending on who the other team puts on him. Our freshmen have got get us 15-20 ppg or we could have real issues the rest of this ACC season.

Even with a healthy brown, very unlikely we beat miami. Their defense is even better than UVA's, and UVA just packed our shit in.

We already saw Miami against an offense just as good as ours in Duke.

Honestly that was one of two plays gott can draw up there. You have to give him the ball so the question is is it off a curl from out of bounds or off a pass. We got a good look, Leslie got held/didn't get far enough to the perimeter for the screen. No problems with the play call, what a terribly officiated acc game though.

I think it's less about gott coaching close game and more about execution. Our players tighten up in close games and get sloppy. I'm sure gott told Rodney to throw it out of bond on that time out.

We were looking good before brown went down. No way for gott to game plan for zo going down. Least purvis can get some PT at PG before Miami.

We lost this game partly because TJ Warren didn't do shit.

Also, I felt bad for Lewis a couple of times when CJL decided to run a few fast breaks himself instead of give it up to the PG. Lewis was not half bad. He looks out of control out there but he's a decent passer.

Howell never fouled out, so it was pointless to sit him at all. We sure could have used another basket or another rebound in this game. Those minutes he wasn't out there were critical. Once again, you don't sit your star players with foul trouble.

If you know a game is going to be close, you can't afford to make the wrong coaching decision for any possession.

Too bad we didn't have a Jevoni we could pull out in this situation. Vandy personally cost us about 8 points.

This is the type of game you don't feel too bad about if that Wake loss didn't happen. We were looking good before Brown went down, up 10 and beginning to control the pace a bit more. ACC officials are just not good either, I hate when people say bias because it's not that - they're just flat out not good and horribly inconsistent. Games like this is where you need guys to step up, Purvis did what he could at PG but was out of his element and Warren had an all around awful night. Only thing I put on Gott is not playing Lewis more. Thought the offense looked a lot better with him out there.
