yep. the refs made us play like ass in the 1st half. the refs made us not play defense (same as how we didn't play it all season). the refs made us leave their 3pt shooter (same as how we've left them open all season). the refs made us not actually play our offense. the refs made us miss a bunch of baskets. the refs made us not come out like we gave a shit. we should totally email them and tell them to stop fucking us over

I don't think the refs had it out for us or anything but they were awful and it definitely hurt us.

They let both teams get away with anything in the 1st half and called every foul possible (and some imagined fouls) in the second half.

This was the most depressing game to watch all season. You'd think it wouldn't be too much to ask for your team to step it up or at least show it cared about winning the game on the 30th anniversary of the greatest tourney run ever, but I guess it was. So depressing.

I'm never a ref blamer...and I'm not going to be for this game either....because it was obvious we played like shit and lost the game.

But there were some shit-tastically bad calls yesterday. Brown's fourth sucked, the Purvis blocking call when he got bowled over sucked, and the Warren block on the breakaway was fucking abysmal. There were some other missed calls over the course of the game as well...but that happens.

We also beat them up pretty bad late and got away with a few calls. I think overall, we got the worst of it...but we DEFINITELY shouldn't have been in that position.
