he is an ethnic Albanian who was born and raised in Belgium. He could play internationally for Belgium, Serbia, Albania, or one other place I can't remember atm. He is still deciding what country he will play internationally for, but my guess is that he ends up playing for Belgium considering the fact that they will be a force to be reckoned with.

and GingaNinja everything I've read says he wants to stay at United and that a deal is extremely close, so I fuckin hope not. With him being named in most of the matchday squads, coming on for Kagawa, and a MOTM brace performance in his firs full start, I can't imagine that he thinks Moyes doesn't want him. Total opposite of the Pogba situation.

That second half was a lot better. Loved the squad Moyes picked, can't blame him for the first half performance. United lack's confidence but in the second half the urgency was there, the confidence was better, and United actually seemed to care. Much better and I want to see more of that. 1 win at a time for sure and that aura will be back. Makes me glad the players have responded for once and Januzaj has scary potential. Lol at city thinking they can buy him. Januzaj is the clear difference between United and City. We make super stars, go buy your mercenaries elsewhere shitty.

The good thing is that this kid should get tons of run in that midfield.

He is gonna be a stud but he will be inconsistent this year. I haven't been this excited for an Academy kid to come through since Rooney was a boy in the United youth sides.

De Gea, Rafael, Evra, Ferdinand, Jones, Anderson, Rooney, Smalling, Hernandez, Vidic, Carrick, Nani, Ashley Young, RvP, Valencia, Kagawa, Fellaini, etc were all bought, not produced through united's youth system.

Good 2-0 win for Southampton over Swansea. 14 points from the first 7 matches is a record for the Saints in the Premier League.

None of them barring RVP and Kagawa were superstars. Rafael actually came through our academy, he was bought as a very young kid for next to nothing. Rooney/Rio/De Gea/Jones were/are youngsters who had immense potential and that's it. Everyone else? The fact that you have to put them in there makes your argument oh so desperate. Evra/Smalling/Hernandez/Vidic were virtually unknown until they came to United and cost next to nothing. The others United paid for and some of worked out/some still have to work out. So how exactly do we buy superstars? More often than not United buys players with big potential that turn into superstars, not the other way around. Keep hating, the jealousy is just ridiculous.

We desperately need Lennon back. Team's are stacking the middle of the field against us and we have no width which just lets the other team off the hook.

Speaking of width, thank God Arsenal get back Cazorla, Walcott and Podolski after the break. No pace out wide with all them out and Ozil has no real speed threats to put through.

Whats wrong with what wazza said?

Quote :
"Gary Neville: You always want to be careful talking about young players — but it is difficult when you see the performance that Adnan Januzaj put in for Manchester United. They are a club steeped in history, with a tradition of attacking wingers and blooding young players. But even so it’s difficult to remember a debut with so much impact. His goals, combined with David de Gea’s world- class save, turned the match from a game in which Sunderland felt they had a chance, to one in which Manchester United were in control. David Moyes gave him his chance because he sensed the moment was right. And for taking that risk, he was rewarded. Januzaj is clearly a special talent: the smoothness with which he uses the ball, the way in which he rose to the task""

this is what he said is wrong.

As many people pointed out, United has bought a lot of players to gain their success. Those examples come just from the current squad. Buying great players has happened throughout their success ( Tevez and Berbs from recent teams).

United has brought up far more players than the other top 6. But it takes a mixture of both home grown talent and buying players.

When did I deny that we don't buy players? Jesus you guys are absolute idiots, picking and choosing whatever you want to hear. If you care enough to dig around I have mentioned before that United's transfer policy is one of reinforcing youth with established names when needed (like RVP, Cantona, and other examples). However some of our best players have also come through the academy. Arsenal and United are the only ones in the top 5 that can claim they make world class players over buying them. Finding a diamond in the rough like Vidic and Evra (They are getting older now) is also part of the smart transfer policy. They aren't academy players but they are bargains and became World Class under Sir Alex and United. Keep brushing away the facts.

Should be fun watching United fans become the new Liverpool fans, jerking off about the glory days as their team descends into mediocrity.
