Agreed. Playing on the knee that got wrecked by that cheap shot has reduced him to an above average de instead of the borderline elite guy he was.

Football windows are short to be competitive. Hurneyblew this one for us . I say let cam walk and focus on building around Benjamin, star, and Kuechly.

Use next season as a dumping ground for stewart, deangelo, and Olsen. Maybe even kali. Let's rebuild around a good core.

I'd keep Johnson though in case he returns to form.

I think it's pretty clear it'sthe right move . Cam isn't elite and if his body breaks down to where he can't run hes not a good long term investment.

The risk far outweighs the reward with cam. He'sgonna be way too eexpensive. Just no value in resigning him

Name some elite QBs, face. I doubt many of them will be in their 4th year coming off an injury.

If we had a competent defense and a healthy running game the last 2 weeks, we could easily be 3-1 or 4-0 and this discussion wouldn't even be happening.

So Star and KK took snaps at DE today, and Rivera mentioned we'd be practicing some 3-4 looks in case CJ can't play. Let's go ahead and note that we started the season with running back and defensive end as our two deepest, and most expensive positions. Both are down to roleplayers and dudes playing out of position.

The word is he's looking a lot healthier this week, the rib injury is healing up so he's been able to get back on track with the ankle. Expect a bit more mobility out of him on Sunday. I would still rather we stay from designed runs except maybe around the goal line.
