Blech. Jimmy Graham with the goose egg, Owen Daniels with 17.8 points.

That was an awful last second roster change. Is Graham even playing or did Jay Glazer and Yahoo lie to me?

Julio, Ty hilton, desean, watkins, and gordon waiting in the wings. Seems like it should be a badass group of receivers

Just threw a trade offer out there to a guy in our 12 team non-ppr league. We start 2 RBs, 3 WRs, I RB/WR flex.

I give Jordy Nelson for Marshawn Lynch.

My current RBs and WRs:

Dez
Colston
Jordy
Andre Williams
Mark Ingram
Allen Robinson
Zac Stacy
Knile Davis
Joseph Randle

I have a waiver claim in for Bryce Brown, but I'm currently 10th in waiver priority so that probably doesn't happen.

His roster:

Desean
TY
Brian Quick
Leveon Bell
Lynch
Mohammed Sanu
Bernard Pierce
Carlos Hyde
Davante Adams

Would you do the trade or do you think I need to throw in a RB as well?

despite dropping Vareen and Patterson, playing NE DEF, Gio getting 1 pt, and not playing Dwayne Allen I still eeked out the W thanks to a very generous matchup where my opponent had no one on his team gain more than 10 pts

Also, as a Zac Stacy owner, I'm glad I picked up Tre Mason earlier this week. He'll be flying off the waiver wire

^And unfortunately, for a 13 or 14 week season there rarely is enough opportunity for those two things to even out. A 3+ game hole is pretty tough to overcome in 7 games.

My brother is 6-1 and has scored 20 more points all season than the team that's 0-7.

don't sell low on Matty Ice after three tough matchups; he still has an incredibly easy schedule going forward. defenses will stack up against the pass more now that Buffalo lost their entire backfield.

Trade question - I'm currently sitting at 5-2 in my 12-team, standard scoring league. 2RB, 2WR, Flex. My current lineup looks like this;

QB: Stafford, Palmer
RB: McCoy, A. Foster, G. Bernard, A. Ellington, A. Smith
WR: D. Thomas, B. Marshall, C. Patterson, J. Edelman, J. Gordon
TE: Bennett

Trade Offer - I give Stafford, Foster, Patterson for Aaron Rogers, Dez Bryant and Jordan Cameron

Thoughts?

That trade looks pretty legit to me. Foster is crushing it right now, but he has a pretty solid injury history and you have decent RBs behind him. Rodgers is also turning it on right now. Guess it depends on how your team is currently performing. If you need a boost, sometimes you gotta switch it up instead of waiting for guys to turn it around.

I wouldn't trade based on your lineup. Rodgers has difficult defensive matchups weeks 13-16 while Stafford has cupcake matchups those weeks, so it might backfire on you come playoff time. You can currently play 3 workhorse running backs every week, and all that trade gives you is the option to sub Dez Bryant for Brandon Marshall. Patterson and Cameron both play on teams that don't know what to do with them.

strip the QBs off that trade and ask for someone better than Cameron, and I think you'd have a good trade.

Yeah, in your situation I'd take that trade too.

How about this trade (PPR 1 pt):

GIVE: Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis
GET: Jeremey Maclin and Shane Vereen

My team:

QB Matt Ryan
RB Jamaal Charles
RB/WR DeSean Jackson
WR Roddy White
WR Sammy Watkins
TE Dwayne Allen
FLEX Markus Wheaton

Bench:

RB Montee Ball, Doug Martin, Knile Davis
WR Robert Woods, Allen Hurns

So basically I upgrade Wheaton to Maclin, but downgrade Charles for Vereen.

I wouldn't do that at all.

Vereen isn't a sure thing, we all know how the patriots like to randomly switch rbs. Even with ridley out, I'm sure there will be games where vereen doesn't get many touches.

I don't think upgrading your flex spot is worth the downgrade at rb. Especially with your backups.

Looking ahead to Gronk's bye week (week 10)

Pick 1 scrub TE:
Charles Clay @ Lions
Clay Harbor vs Cowboys
Jace Amaro vs Steelers

Leaning towards Clay if healthy. Thoughts?

It's an even trade, but there's no way I'd do that one. Based on the lineup construction I can't imagine that this is more than a 10-12 team league. Assuming you aren't required to play 3 WRs, I'd just drop Patterson and pick someone else up for him. But your current depth at RB is scary good, and you're playing Thomas and Marshall every week at WR anyway, so Dez is going to fit the Flex slot.

^ yeah but you are discounting the upgrade of Stafford to Rodgers

^^ yes on Clay, the Cowboys give up a ton of points to TEs

Flex: Ingram v GB or Jeffrey v NE (0.5 ppr)

Current lineup is McFadden and Oliver at RB, Dez and Antonio at WR

I cant believe I have to even ask this, but pick my 2 RB out of this group (non-ppr):

-Lesean McCoy @ Arizona (should be no-brainer but Arizona's defense is solid and McCoy has been a dud for me most of the season)
-Ben Tate vs. Oakland (highest projected points out of the 3 RB listed)
-Joique Bell @ Atlanta (Atlanta is probably the worst run defense in the league, but he does have Reggie Bush splitting carries)

i have a pretty awful stable of running backs (knowshon i took a gamble on you so thanks a fucking lot)

right now I have lesean mccoy, antone smith, storm johnson, and shonn greene. yeah, awful - the latter 3 were making up for taking a flier on toby gerhart.

my WR's are pretty solid thou - julio jones, ty hilton, marques colston, mike evans, and eddie royal.

so should i accept a trade that me giving up ty hilton for tre mason and wes welker?

^^^Tate & McCoy

^^I wouldn't do that. I think you can get a better RB than Tre Mason.

Would you sell high on DeMarco Murray?

Someone made a crap offer for him, but I'm not sure it's worth the effort to make a counter offer. Not really worried about him potentially getting hurt since I also have his handcuff. RB is also a weak position for me since Spiller is done for the year (McKinnon & Ingram are my only other good RBs). If you theoretically traded Murray, what do you think would be a good return for him (top tier WR like Megatron and/or Marshall & RB)?

Was offered this trade in a standard non-ppr league, with a W/R/T flex.

I give:
Shane Vereen (can be kept next year as a 4th round pick)

I get:
Alfred Morris (can be kept next year as a 6th round pick)

My other RBs are:
Lesean McCoy
Demarco Murray
Charles Sims

thoughts?

morris has been not very good this year, but i'd rather have him next season than vereen.

so i think vereen will be the better play most of this season, but since it's a keeper league, i'd probably rather have morris.

PPR league; Flex
Julian Edelman vs Chi or
Jordan Reed @ Dal

Edelman seems obvious, however, he hasn't been doing great recently. And Reed has looked good since returning, plus is playing the 2nd worst DEF against TEs
