Dude, back in the day when Wojo played guard for Duke, that little due was one hell of a defender, and he was always the smallest dude on the court. Some of it may come down to natural athleticism, but the rest of it is heart and Wojo definitely a great job guarded guys and the bulk of those were blk defenders.

And yeah i would say Wojo back in his day was more athletic than Scott Wood!

smug bunch of fucks over on the IC boards. Ive never seen a group of people who collectively know so little about sports, whether football or bball.

As for negative recruiting, i'm pretty sure Sid doesn't do it. I read, i forgot who it was, maybe it was Harrow's dad or coach, and they were talking about how Lowe is actually recruiting the right way (which they implied made it hard). Maybe it was someone else. Maybe that's also Sid's "problem" is that he's a little naive, who knows.

But seriously, no love lost between Raleigh and Lexington. I just want these guys to come in next year and stomp people.

CJ also said something really interesting in one of his post-announcement interviews, he said: "scott wood just needs to be more aggressive." I was like... man that dude was watching like all our games because i screamed that everytime he touched the ball. I think that's also the thing that clicked with CJ Williams. He got damn aggressive the 2nd half of the season.

That's another reason im excited that Harrow, Brown and Leslie (mabry too hopefully) are coming in because they are elite talent, they are hongry. I want that to rub off on everyone that they better work hard.

As good as Valvano was, we all know that Sidney being his floor leader was alot of reasons state had so much success those years without alot of top flight talent.

that would be good, since CJ came to his signing. But it might be hard to make it up on a school day in the last quarter of your senior year (trying to wrap up projects and exams). Of course we all want him to graduate and make sure his grades are okay. Although I guess one day wouldn't kill you.

it can, and no it is not factored in, but its only $20. I figured .500 is a reasonable bet. Not a sure thing but we would just need to finish in the top 6 or so to achieve that. If Sid can't manage that with the talent coming in (even if we are a really young team) combined with another fairly weak ACC year coming up, then there is a major problem imo.
