I started this post thinking I'd list the 283947981719823 things I gotta do on a daily basis due to an overloaded life for the next 6 months, but I got too lazy to type it all, and frankly my dear, I don't think you(all) give a damn.

Just know that I'm such a stress-free person that I'm still enjoying life and posting on TWW while there's an orgy of hurricanes swirling around my ass.

This new girl at work is causes quite a stir. Out just about every other day sick. Rude to people.

Today, while I was standing outside smoking...way away from the door she walks by

"That's a bad habit"

" Yeah, I know "

"I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't smoke around me anymore"

"I'm not smoking around you, I'm smoking far from the door, in the approved spot to smoke"

"Well I'm allergic to smoke, you could kill me"

"People aren't allergic to smoke, the smoke irritates things and can make you have allergy like symptoms but people aren't allergic to smoke"

"Well if I have an allergic reaction from you smoking around me you're going to pay for my hospital bill"

"uhh well you should probably go inside and stop standing in the smoking section"

"it's a free world I can stand anywhere I want"

"and I can smoke anywhere that is a smoking section, which you are standing in. If you were allergic to peanuts would you walk into a the Jif factory and tell them you will sue if you have to go to the hospital from an allergic reaction"

What the fuck? If you don't like someone standing outside smoking while you are walking to the door then keep walking and go inside. Especially if they aren't even smoking right next to the door.

Haha it's like I don't think there are very many smokers in the US that don't know that smoking is a bad habit, and that it's bad for you, and that it causes all these types of cancer.

I can respect the fact that a non smoker doesn't like being around smoke, that is why I try to stand away from non smokers. I don't smoke around kids.

But when I'm not breaking any rules, minding my own business and having a cigarette on my lunch break don't come and seek me out to tell me I'm a horrible person because I am going to give you an allergic reaction from cigarette smoke.

I'm supposed to memorize a poem for Russian tomorrow, but we're only in the second semester so none of these words mean shit to me. I basically have to remember twelve lines of random sounds, and for some reason I'm insanely nervous about it even though I'm a grad student and this class doesn't count for a goddamn thing as far as my program goes.

I blame my nazi high school Spanish teacher, who has made me pathologically afraid of all foreign language teachers.
