my dad lost his iphone4 a couple of weeks ago. he's been using an olddddd moto krzr since then, holding out for whatever apple's about to announce. i think it'll have to be REALLY awesome for him to pay full price for the 4S/5. more likely, he'll buy a 4 once the prices drop. if anybody has a like new or new verizon iphone 4 they want to get rid of, let me know.

Seems like there's very little speculation on what the new iPhone will feature this time. There was a lot more speculation back in the summer when everyone thought for the first time the new iPhone was about to be released. I guess after being wrong on so much stuff lately, the tech geeks are all but saying "Fuck it, we'll see it when it comes out."

Well it kind of helps that this time around, nobody lost an iPhone5 in a bar, and then sold it to a tech blog.

And there's been TONS of speculation, but very little in the way of actual known facts. It's almost a given that there will be a faster processor and more RAM, and a better camera (flickr had an 8MP image uploaded to it from a phone identifying itself as an iPhone4 and the picture was quickly removed)

See if you can figure out if carriers will be bumping their upgrade eligibility up for iPhone 4 customers. It's currently cheaper to cancel and move to another carrier than to outright buy it.

Carriers said this moving upgrade eligibility is dictated by Apple
