maybe it's just the beta version, but iOS5 has horrible battery life, especially if you have a lot of things being pushed.

On android, there's significant portions... but i think this may have more dynamic inputs and ouputs.

I can say text andymac, and it will let me dictate a text... or navigate to Walmart, etc. Or find Greek restaurant in Palo Alto.

There looks to be improvements over android's... but i doubt it will be long before android matches the other options... most of it is cloud based voice processing

No I'll sell my iPhone 4S and get the 5. I'm on a family plan and there's always a spare upgrade available. I sold my 3GS for $400 unlocked. Bought the 4 for $200. Probably sell the 4 for $400 or so unlocked. Buy the 4S for $200. Made $400 already.

Random circumstances. I'm still on my parents plan because my mom uses it for business and I'm just an additional line. It's like $60/month for mine. I've found no reason to get my own and pay twice that a month. We have like 6 lines and every couple years there's typically a few upgrades no ones used.
