Worked out this week for the first time without stimulants (after being on them for about 3 months - finally, I started having stomach pains), and everything seemed to be quite a bit harder. It feels like I am not getting enough oxygen for me to have the energy to push through those extra reps (on average, my sets were one rep less, and for cardio, 1 minute less). Perhaps without the stimulants, my heart isn't pumping as much blood as it used to. Also, it seems like I have to lift "differently" when lifting weights.. almost like my nervous system was used to working in a different way.

I think I'm gonna stay off of them for good and go all-natural. (I'll still be supplementing with protein, of course).

Short Ab workout and then either tennis or a run later today. My shoulder was a bit sore on some of the lifts today. Not anything resembling pain and I assume it's just because I played tennis the other day and hadn't in a while and the serving was using a muscle a different way than I was used to.

so being a former fat kid, i'm really happy w/the way i look now but around my belly its starting to get that 'loose skin cause i used to be fat' thing goin on. Anyway to get rid of that?

Biked 29½ miles on the greenway & braved some north Charlotte (albeit light due to holiday) traffic. Averaged a paltry 12 mph (thanks stray dogs & stray-er children), and topped 36 downhill, wheee! Bested my previous best solo ride by seven miles.

good call, I don't like to overload the CNS. A proper mindset and the right nutrition is all one needs. I do still supplement with creatine, fish oil, multi-v & protein though

I've recently stopped weight training almost all together. Instead it's jiu-jitsu every day and some sparring. It's been great and I'm actually in better shape than with the intense weight training.
