ok i think i really am dying. yesterday i was exaggerating. today i am only half exaggerating.

my dr is open until 12 tomorrow should i try to make an appt? or just hold off and go to the urgent care if i still feel bad tomorrow or sunday? i guess i should wait because maybe it will just go away.

it hurts to breathe, cough, sniff and touch my chest. like the top part right under my collar bone and spreading out toward my shoulders and slightly down. and taking deep breaths hurts bad. taking any breaths causes minor discomfort but coughing and sniffling (i'm a *TINY* bit congested) really kills. yesterday i thought i slept wrong but today i think something might actually be wrong. upper resp infection?? last time i had that a few years ago my chest didn't hurt this much. the flu? pneumonia? i'm gonna dieeee!!!

^^^ haha. thanks!! i can probably get into the doctor tomorrow morning before work...and then if it is nothing i can go. or if it is something i can call in i guess. my poor work they are probably sorry they ever hired me i am a walking disaster.

i just don't want a wasted trip to the doc or to seem like an idiot/baby. if it is a cold/upper resp/bronchitis they prob can't do anything except tell me to rest/drink fluids

but if it is flu, pneumonia or some bacterial thing, then maybe i can get meds

i also have my test in a week and don't have time to have something small turn into some major thing that is going to put me on my ass...so that is another reason to just suck it up and go. its only $30 so...really no big deal. i can also just call my NP and see what she thinks. re: go/don't go/dying/etc

Also, tww, I need your advice. I'm heading to Charlotte with a friend for a reunion thing this afternoon, except I don't really know him very well, he's giving me a ride cuz he's the other person from State and I don't have a car.
What's your advice on something to do in the car for a few hours? When we went to Greensboro it wasn't that bad, there was a third person, the ride was only an hour, and I had needlepoint I was working on. No such luck this time...

umm...maybe go rent a book on tape from the library that you both might like?

do you get carsick doing things? i do, but if you don't you could grab a crossword puzzle book (or sudoku or other puzzle book or whatever) and do those while you ride. magazines, again, if you don't get carsick.

ummmmmm. yea 3 (or potentially 3+) hours is a long ride when you have to make small talk the entire way. i'm trying to think of other things you could do but i'm not very good at it, sowwie
