You guys will love this one. I limped with AX suited, flopped trips, turned quads, he bet into me the entire way.

Dealer: Ding Bud shows three of a kind, Aces
Dealer: david0603 shows four of a kind, Aces
Dealer: david0603 wins the pot (5,140) with four of a kind,
Aces
Dealer: Hand #4934252183
LET: nh
Hollywood Dave: LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Ding Bud (Observer): lol
Ding Bud (Observer): hilarioius dude
Ding Bud (Observer): thats so unreal
Ding Bud (Observer): u have the ace on the button
david0603: yawn
Ding Bud (Observer): and u didnt even raise
Ding Bud (Observer): wow
Ding Bud (Observer): seriously u guys dont know how to play
Dealer: Hollywood Dave wins the pot (750)
Dealer: Hand #4934261966
SvunnKing: what u doing with 9 5 anyway
david0603: yeah, seriously
Ding Bud (Observer): flush draw
Ding Bud (Observer): i limped in
Dealer: Hollywood Dave has 15 seconds left to act
Ding Bud (Observer): i cant put him on an ace there
Hollywood Dave: some would argue that putting yourself all in
with no pair, no draw infers that YOU don't know how to play
Ding Bud (Observer): not really
Ding Bud (Observer): i have no choice there but to bluff
SvunnKing: oh, just vecause u have a flush draw with 9 5
doesn mean u are a world champion
SvunnKing: :p
Ding Bud (Observer): considering my stack and the pot
Dealer: like7 wins the pot (900)
Dealer: Hand #4934271636
Hollywood Dave: whatever u gotta tell urself guy
Hollywood Dave: have a nice day
Ding Bud (Observer): he cant call 75% of his chips with a 3
lil gaven: the point is your gone were still here
Ding Bud (Observer): so how does he have an ace on the
button and limp
Dealer: LET has 15 seconds left to act
Dealer: lil gaven wins the pot (200)
Dealer: Hand #4934277356
Hollywood Dave: how do u get involved in a pot with 95
Hollywood Dave: LOL
Ding Bud (Observer): i limped
Ding Bud (Observer): hello
Ding Bud (Observer): flopped the flush draw
Dealer: david0603 has 15 seconds left to act
Ding Bud (Observer): everyone chked including the button
Hollywood Dave: so what's the best case scenario? perfect
flop of 678d?
Dealer: SvunnKing wins the pot (100)
Dealer: Hand #4934283155
Ding Bud (Observer): dude
Hollywood Dave: any other flop and ur most likely dominated
Ding Bud (Observer): do u know how to pay
Ding Bud (Observer): suited connectors
Hollywood Dave: dude
Ding Bud (Observer): late position
Ding Bud (Observer): im going to limp in
Ding Bud (Observer): it was a decent flop for me
Hollywood Dave: i'll put my record up against yours any day
of the week
Dealer: LET has 15 seconds left to act
Ding Bud (Observer): how r u even involving yourself
Ding Bud (Observer): u werent involved
Dealer: LET wins the pot (450)
Dealer: Hand #4934292373
SvunnKing: start a poker school and earn some money
SvunnKing: lol
Hollywood Dave: as soon as u started crying from the rail, i
was involved
Ding Bud (Observer): the fact is i couldnt put him on an ace
because he was on the button
Dealer: LET has 15 seconds left to act
Dealer: King7Seven wins the pot (100)
Ding Bud (Observer): with 3 aces out there its pretty unlikely
he limped the button and has it
Dealer: Hand #4934297852
Hollywood Dave: would u have been happier if he limp called
with A6?
Ding Bud (Observer): in a hu spot
Hollywood Dave: LOL
Ding Bud (Observer): doesnt matter
Dealer: like7 has 15 seconds left to act
Hollywood Dave: bye
Ding Bud (Observer): no other way to play the hand
Hollywood Dave: except stop betting when it was obv he had
a piece
Dealer: david0603 has 15 seconds left to act
Ding Bud (Observer): not the ace
Hollywood Dave: or a better draw than u
Dealer: like7 has 15 seconds left to act
Hollywood Dave: whatev dude, later
Ding Bud (Observer): ok
Dealer: King7Seven has 15 seconds left to act
Ding Bud (Observer): well thats why i went all in
Ding Bud (Observer): cause the draws missed
Ding Bud (Observer): obv
Dealer: like7 wins the pot (650)
Dealer: Hand #4934312026
Hollywood Dave: BYE, DUDE

Man I took a horrible horrible beat yesterday. I will say I am not good at all in big tournies. I have never placed in one except for a $1 buy-in a couple years ago messing around. Anyway I was in a $10, 200ish person sit-n-go with a really nice stack and about 40 people left, just on the bubble (I think like 30 people made the money). This idiot who had been raising like a madman but somehow catching hand after hand doubled my big blind (from $100 to $200), and I called with 33. Anyway flop comes 367 rainbow, I check it, he pushes all in for like $5500, and I of course call. He shows KJ of clubs, and of course the turn and river are club club giving him a king high flush, and all but knocking me out of the tournament. I was seriously going to go way into that tourney, but man that hurt. I have of course taken worse beats, but never in such an "important" position. Man was I pissed.

^^I love people who call hands like 95s "suited connecters" Sure, they are connecters, but you never make the nuts with.

how do you guys feel about the turbo sngs? i'm trying them out, and am not quite sure how i feel about them. I tend to make a lot of my big moves late in sngs so i thought turbos might work well for me, but idk feels like too much of a crapshoot.

i mean but there are people with very respectable rois that play the turbos, so i mean there must be a way to beat them consistently, seems worth it since you can double your volume with them.

if you play turbos, you have to play 2-3x the amount of sng's you usually play i would say to be just as profitable

there's one thing for certain

if you rock a 50 buy roll for sngs,

i'd at least triple that for turbos.

I think that the lower buy-in turbo single table SNGs, say > $15 are extremely soft (esp 6 max) in comparison to the non turbos. I have found that in terms of my ROI, I have a slightly lower ROI with the turbos, but far more profit hourly due to the amount I can play.

But.....holy hell is it a roller coaster ride w/ all the swings.

Not really, what i'm saying is that the decrease in my ROI is not substantial enough to warrant me not playing turbos. In playing the turbos, i'm 1) getting more volume, and 2) making more money in the same amount of time (because the decline in ROI is less substantial than the volume I am gaining). So in a nutshell, i'm more profitable.

Man, I am such an emotional gambler = not good.

I took another atrocious beat, so instead of quitting I bet everything in my account on the LA Lakers vs Denver Nuggets at -3.5 LA. I ended up making $325, but geez, I have very little control when I am pissed.

On the bright side, I now have $675 in my account that started as like 85 cents.

^lol, i've done that, but it has ended up bad for me, dropping 1300 in 3 sports bets, and losing my whole roll back in the pp days of $100 hands of blackjack.

When I am angry I make really bad gambling decisions. Well thus far they have turned out well but when my typical bets are $10-$30 and I throw $350 on a game.... yes that is a bad move, regardless of the outcome.

I've been playing the turbo HU sngs lately. They probably aren't worth it for the money, but I'm loving them, went on a streak of like 8 in a row yesterday.

LAS VEGAS (Reuters) - A fire broke out on the top floors of a 3,000-room Las Vegas hotel and Casino on Friday, forcing the evacuation of guests and staff and quickly engulfing parts of the building's facade and roof.

There were no immediate reports of injuries in the blaze, which broke out at about 11 a.m. local time (2 p.m. EST) at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino on the Vegas strip.

if you didn't deposit with epassporte then you are gonna have to verify your shit with them before they give you money....y not just request a check from ft, by the time you verify your shit with epass you'd prob have you check from ft anyway.

because it says i have to send them proof of ID and a copy of a utility bill to just get a regular check too. when i try to withdraw my only option is to "learn more" about either epass or paper check

I just made a copy of like a cable bill, my driver's license, and put a sticky note on there that had my FT name

got a check about 2 weeks later

the only reason you have to send them anything scanned is to prove your identity

no dollar amounts need to be on that scanned sheet

I just sent an email, asking to withdraw $x amount from my account, and then attached the .pdf that had a bill, my id, and my FT id on it

I'm sure if they have any questions or problems with it, they'll let you know

but i mean, at least that's a more marginal holding, and he's trying to bluff, or protect a very weak hand, i mean with his hand there he has decent showdown value, i mean he's winning the least and losing the most from his line imo. unless i was a donk and called him with like 8s or something, which i prob wouldn't.

shows very little understanding of poker imo.
