^ Getting worse as a doctor? He diagnosed a guy based on watching his tv show and noticing a .8 differential in his speech pattern. He still is a ridiculous doctor, though personally thats the part i dislike the most on the show, when he notices something random and fixes the problem.

I agree. He's constantly sure he knows what the problem is and wants to take radical action to fix it without running a test to see if he's right.

First it was a vitamin deficiency, then it was a thyroid problem (and they wanted to "nuke" his thyroid), then it was a floral allergy, and it turned out to be a totally different type of allergy, so house's 3rd guess just happened to be the right kind of treatment, but it was complete luck

Amber was really only a psycho bitch when she was trying to get on House's team. She chilled out a ton once she was dating Wilson. It was a sad episode, and I don't get sad with tv/movies very often.

what a sad way to end the season. it takes some pretty good writing to take a character first dubbed "cutthroat bitch" and then make me legitimately feel bad when they kill her off.

i think they did a pretty good job of getting away from the formulaic episode pattern of patient is real sick -> try something that doesn't work (repeat until 10 minutes left in the episode) -> house has crazy epiphany -> patient cured

house was actually wrong some this season, and in one episode cutner actually had the epiphany to save the patient.
