I thought LeBron handled it fine, he made his point without profanity and left the floor in a timely manner without showing up the official. If I were the owner of the Cavs, I'd feel obligated to refund each patrons price of admission, that was awful by Lebron's cast, Varajao, good lord.....I think a 12 and under rec league could go 2 for the game behind the arc.

That could have been a foul, but touch fouls go uncalled all the time at the end of games. They didn't deserve to win that game after Varajao waved off Lebron and tried to take it to the hole with that spinning crap on Duncan.

this game upset me for a few reasons

there were 2 no calls in the last minute that just killed me

i think when there were like 8 seconds they shoulda took all that time for a 3 instead of fouling and leaving 5 seconds left...they ended up being in the same situation with 3 less seconds

Holy fuck man the spread was Spurs -1.5 and i had the Spurs.

My g/f was sleeping so i didnt have the volume up high at all and i couldnt see the clock that well on her little tv so i wasnt sure if they were gonna count that Ilgauskas turn around hook that happened right after the buzzer.

I mean what the fuck. 3 point game and the man is taking a 2 pointer at the buzzer and hits it off a ridiculous roll around the rim. I only had $100 on the game but damn that scared the shit outta me. Not the way i wanted to lose a bet.

They took like 20-30 seconds to show the Final score. I'm sure the sportsbooks in vegas were going crazy waiting on a final

San Antonio is toying with the Cavs like a cat with a mouse. They should only go for alley-oops in Game Four, just to make it interesting.

You guys are idiots saying that the Spurs get all the good calls, etc. etc. Quit bitching, seriously. The calls in that game were ridiculous on both sides of the court. LeBron was elbowing dudes in the face all night and getting away with it.

The Spurs are the much better team, anyway, and to think that even if LeBron went to the foul line and made all 3 of the foul shots, I don't think they would have been able to win in overtime. As bad as the Spurs played last night, and all the opportunities they gave the Cavs to win, the Cavs blew it BIG TIME.

the spurs are a really fucking good team, but they have too many players (parker, manu, bowen, duncan, etc...) that are either a)annoying to watch, or b)boring to watch.

The Spurs are boring...to people that get overly excited about flashy dunks and can't appreciate efficient offense and solid defense.

The Spurs are exciting... to people who like cheaters, floppers, players who try to injure other players, and nothing but big men hitting bank shots.

i like watching tony parker drive to the hole, and when manu drives too...the people who dont like the spurs are the ones who expect every game to be like nba jam. watching dunks over and over and all the flashiness gets old. i like solid team play for whatever team sport i watch, and the spurs definitely have that

i think you meant....the people who don't like the spurs are the people who don't like cheaters, floppers, and players who try to injure other players....

and don't like the the tim duncans that are so shocked by every call that doesn't go their way (which, yes, would be shocking) their eyes almost pop out of their sockets.

although i do admit, parker is exciting to watch, but i hate him. largely because he's so good, but also because of the ridiculous media coverage for a wedding no sports fan gives a crap about.

I want to watch the Spurs.

They are a solid team and they work together to get the task done.

And like someone stated earlier in this thread-show me an NBA player who doesn't flop...show me one who doesn't act shocked when a foul is called.

Mr. James himself responding to a foul:

All of that aside....they might be boring, annoying, or "dirty" but it sure is working out well for them.

yea, no one will deny they are good. forget the yankees comparisons. to me, the more appropriate comparison is duke- gets all the calls, darlings of the nba, great coach, too much undeserved coverage (well, the wedding at least), dirty cheaters, good players, i hate them, etc.

I mean the Yankees win by exploiting the system and spending exorbitant amounts of money that very few other teams can compete with.

That's a reason why many people hate them.

The Spurs are a small market team that is barely over the salary cap and is much farther under the luxury tax than teams like Phoenix, Dallas, New York, and Denver.

Hell, when they "won" David Robinson in the lottery they almost lost him because they couldn't afford the bidding war against the Lakers.
