I can't make a list, it's too hard.

However, that list needs "Set the Ray to Jerry" and "Drown".

1. SD
2. MCIS
3. Adore
4. Gish
5. Machina II
6. Machina

2-4 are interchangeable. I'll try to rank songs later, but it'll be hard.

Don't tell me, make your own, mang! That was kind of the point of me starting it.... put together your top 10 or 25, I would like to see it.

I've always been a sucker for the more mellow stuff, and I would like to see what someone who prefers the more rockin' shit would put up there.

Only two days away.......

pitchforks is always good for some bush league journalism. anyone with a clue of how things work knows that record companies are responsible for those kinds of promos/different releases.

Very Informative. Nice Post.
Sincerely

I'll just google around and find something good. Sounds like there's a lot to choose from.

Someone's not excited about the Pumpkins "reunion" http://www.charlotte.com/364/story/168357.html

Something tells me if Billy Corgan refused to do that shit, the record would be released in the way he intended.

^ I trust the opinion(s) of T-Dubbers. Just wanted to see what people's favorite places were.

I saw one that caught the eye, The Bier Garden???

I would recommend Barley's for pizza and beers, Hannah Flannagans is good, but The Bier Garden is a good place to chill and they have a bigger selection of beers than anywhere else.

Barley's and Hannah's are probably the closest to the venue, as I recall. (I grew up there, but it was long before the Orange Peel existed)

i don't see why they don't just release a special edition with all the tracks for like $20 with a big booklet or some shit, or $30 or $35 with some kind of dvd with interviews and live stuff and such.

the present distribution plan encourages pirating.

yeah... i was definitely going to buy it but after seeing that i don't know that i will. i don't care if it's the pumpkins or the label that's ultimately behind it, that shit is just ridiculous. i'll just download all the songs and keep my money.

why did no ones top 25 songs list include "The Aeroplane Flies High", that along with "Bodies", "Set The Ray To Jerry" and "Mouths of Babes" and Cherub Rock are probably my top 5

HOW WAS IT ???

Oh, and First asheville update:

Dad says Corgan and the gang have been all over town. Billy was at Karma Sonic at some point and has been spotted all over downtown. The sad thing is, by the time I'm down there, he'll have been there a week already and I bet won't be around as much. Still... cool!

Apparently, Patton Avenue Days Inn will be pumpkins fan central location during the course of the residency.
