ND is hardly falling in to oblivion right now. Pretty much every skilled position is a freshman or a sophomore and they have had, on average, a Top 3 recruiting class the last 3 years. They are on the way up, if anything... but not quite there yet.

The funny thing is that I'm actually a ND fan and I'm not as upset about the loss as most of the people who HATE Notre Dame most weeks. UNC is good and ND is improving... next year they'll be good.

Well lets see ND wins came against inferior competition they barely beat SDSU, they got smoked by Michigan State. This is the year for Carolina if they don't win their Division it could be some time before they make it back. Losing Tate is going to hurt them in the long run.

UNC got a good schedule draw this year. They avoided Wake Forest, Florida State, and Clemson. Even though Clemson has been disappointing, it's a team they traditionally don't do well against. Not surprised in the least bit about the zebras and the call at the end. No way the boys in powder blue will ever get sent home unhappy when their fate is left up to the zebras. See... Jim Knight and Ron Cherry.
