thats how I was too; then it really grew on me. However it is still the most overrated record I've heard in awhile. I mean, it'll probably be an HM for me at the end of the year because it has a lot of darn catchy songs and really grew on me despite not getting into it right away, but outside of that I have a feeling I'll be getting sick of it being at the top of certain sites' top X lists at the end of the year heh.

there's nothing wrong with liking something that's good and popular...or this "bandwagon" of followers...because in the end it's how the individual feels about the tune...if you fall asleep, then don't listen to it, crank the beats...but if you enjoy the steady-ness of life with humble music, then let your body relax to the tunes. I personally just find music that brings a cognitive sense, more appealing. Although I enjoy losing myself in the music too. And I don't really get sick of seeing other people enjoy the same tune. I might find something to replace it eventually...but the song will still be categorized under functionally stimulating.

shot down lol

whatever...I'll just go back to new music.

Dr. Dog - don't stop (prolly already leaked)
Manic street preachers - Journal for Plague Lovers (same)
Tiny Vipers - life on earth (maybe leaked)
I'm interested in the Steve Vai - Naked Tracks album
Bowerbirds - Upper air
Arctic Monkeys- Humbug
Muse- The Resistance
Porcupine Tree- The Incident

I don't have my comp, for about a week...so I haven't even looked for dl links. I've been working summerfest...if anyone's heard of it. The Airborne Toxic Event played...and it was pretty much amazing, to say the least.

Not sure if anyone is interested, but after many years blur reunited for a set at Glastonbury Sunday night to close out the festival. Word on the street was that it was an amazing set and blew the fucker out.

A live BBC rip and sep'd by tracks upload of the set list can be gotten here: hxxp://www.sendspace.com/file/8zv6xz

got volumes 7 & 8 of the merge comps today (zach galifianakis and marcel dzama) and the book of covers also arrived

they're really awesome photos of people holding the actual record sleeves, instead of scans or digital images of the actual artwork

i likes the book a lot

p.s. the back cover of zach's comp has a letter to arcade fire including lyrics for a song he think they should write
