steady aim with AK47 in COD4 made it much easier to handle. It seems like most of the weapons from COD4 are the later weapons you unlock - M4, P90, AK47, etc...

Machine Pistols FTW, I sometimes use it more than my primary because it is so accurate and recoil isn't terrible either. The clip is typically big enough to get through 2-3 people as well.

Sitting at about 1.10 - 1.20 K after my terrible start.

^ yeah the machine pistols are really powerful..which kind of surprised me. Its almost like having two primary weapons. And with bling pro you can put two attachments on the secondaries too!

Does anyone know for certain whether or not Scavenger will also resupply your secondary weapon? I switched to it for a round last night and didn't think to check whether or not my M79 got a reload. I so seldom ever use a secondary for anything, but I've found that the bloop gun can be quite useful in Sabotage games.

I think the reason for the old school shotguns unlocked later on is that they are more of an enthusiast weapon, and that they the core weapons will be unlocked for the majority of your leveling time. They will give you the work-horses to get to the specialty (fun) guns later on.

I am a big shot-gun fan, I can play crossfire with my pump shot-gun on CoD4 forever... so the tighter maps and large shot gun selection are very awesome

Finally beat the game last night on Veteran (or whatever the 2nd to hardest mode is)...play time was 8 hours...great campaign though! One thing I am curious about...i didn't skip the offensive missions but the completion says 76%? I thought maybe its because of spec-ops but my spec-ops has its own completion rate.

or is the 76% because it includes each time through per difficulty level...

i usually cap their feet or legs or try to flank their sides. if not, i try to beat the riot shielders to the punch by charging and melee'ing

Riot shield is my favorite thing, especially in domination matches with the explosive resistance equipment. You just creep up, cap the spot, and laugh as they try their best to kill you, as soon as you seen them go for their grenade, you swap to your weapon, move foward, and let the shield cover your back as the grenade explodes behind you while you pump half a dozen rounds into them with the AA-12

If you have any competent teammates, they will follow behind you and cap people at range, making for a pretty epic domination force.

I think if I were playing team death match, I'd be able to drop a nuke. I guess its impossible on FFA since you can only get 25 kills on this version of COD. I liked the 30 kills of WAW much better.

K in this game means not a lot, say as it does in Halo or Counter Strike. First of all to have a high K you need to be an expert camper. Secondly, the (hijacking of) care packages can provide artillery that can get you kills that you did not actually do yourself. And lastly, if you played objective primarily, if you have a high K you are not contributing to your team objective as you probably should be.

^^^ Do you crouch when you shoot or look down the sights? Also fire in bursts instead of holding the trigger down. And use stopping power to help until you learn to aim faster/more accurately. Learn to play with a higher sensitivity so you can aim faster when someone surprises you.


^ Yeah Im pretty serious about by K/D even though it really doesnt mean much to others. But I also look at my accuracy as well as headshots and total kills/time played.

Right now: 1.82 K/D, 22.95% Accuracy, ~1150 kills, ~100 headshots, 7 hours played

I play MTD exclusively right now and I dont camp unless Im sniping...which I rarely do.

I'm not as concerned about accuracy, because I tend to do a lot of suppressive fire with the LMGs and those will shoot your accuracy to shit

But I don't like when I'm playing TDM with people and they think they're doing well when they lead the team in kills but have twice as many deaths as everyone else

^^^ Yea my K : D goes to hell when I play domination because im more concerned about winning then not dying. I usually have the top points from capturing and defending objectives, but a good bit more deaths than most people. I am not really that concerned about it, I am just playing to have fun, and you can look at my K : D and assume I am nooby, but I will still kill you

You guys knocking kill death are full of it. Believe it or not, some people are just better at the game. Just because they have a high kill death doesnt mean they are campers. What does that really even mean? Are you telling me that you never sit and hide in an alley way to steal a kill or two before you move to the next area? Quite honestly, it is VERY rare when I found someone in FFA in WAW with a high kill death that wasnt really good.

Is your idea of good game play running around like the special olympian trying to get a kill before someone mows you down while they watch from a corner? If so, this picture is for you.



As for me, you simply cant win many matches from camping alone. Not free for all anyway. Its a combination of getting some area kills, then moving to another area, then going bat shit crazy when you call in air support (at that time, I am the retard running around trying to finish off the game with quick kills)

Its always something. Take away the juggernaut and the matyrdom and now you're back to blaming camping for your suckness.

I have never used martyrdom or juggernaut and I still am pretty good. I don't camp. I love playing objectives and going balls to the walls and leading the team in XP. This game has double the camping that MW1 did.
