I was really impressed by that Napier kid on defense during the parts of the game I saw. Brandon Knight couldn't get by him to save his life.

Napier is an interesting kid. He kind of got noticed late in his junior year. He happened to reclassify (like Dawkins at Duke) or else he would have blown up over this past summer on the AAU board.

UConn did a great job at recruiting under the big guys they lost out on late (Knight, Lamb, Selby, Harris, etc). I really like Roscoe Smith and Shabazz Napier and I think guys like Jeremy Lamb and Giffey could be good role players down the line.

Kemba is going to be gone and that sucks because there is a near 100% certainty the #1 overall player in 2012 (Andre Drummond) is going to UConn and I'm hearing rumors he might reclassify to 2011 as well...

I don't necessarily think that Villanova is great this year. 7 is overly optimistic after losing Reynolds. Fisher is kind of nasty but I have been severely disappointed in Cheek's play since getting to college after being such a bigtime recruit.

I wonder if dumbshits kid is pissed his Dad told him he couldn't go to UConn after seeing them play this week. Too bad that he had no say in his own recruitment..

I know. What I'm saying is that outside of Duke, the ACC appears to be somewhere between meh and bad. We have a lot of young talent but I'm not convinced that we will be able to overcome our youth and make a push into the top 3 or 4 in the ACC. I'm sure we'll improve as the season progresses but we've looked good at times against good teams(G'town) and bad against bad teams(F-D). Inconsistent
