this is what i've been saying for years. blitz like hell, get sacks, turnovers and at worst give up long plays.

It beats the hell out of being on defense the entire game giving up 7 yard pass after 7 yard pass but not stopping anybody. then go back on offense against a supercharged defense.

I remember in 2004 when we had Reggie Herring as our DC and we were #1 in the nation in defense. Now granted that defense was loaded, but we were crazy aggressive. We had 10 sacks when we played at Virginia Tech. They were fun to watch, I just wish we had had an offense to go along with that defense that year.

FWIW, I've watched the entire game on ESPN3.. I'm on TWC RR, and it never asked me to select a carrier. I just went to espn3.com and clicked on our game. I don't think I've watched anything on there before so IDK. Perhaps it's flaky depending on the area you're in? I'm on the edge of Durham / Raleigh.

I think it had more to do with the 4 first round picks in our front 7 than Herring. He hasn't done much with the Arkansas defense.
