I was more going by a lot of the sports writer predictions, our own hopes and dreams, and the sheer pessimism of a lot of VT fans. Because who gives a shit about the line. It's just about the only one I've seen expecting us to lose.

Why the fuck are people afraid of losing? We're having a killer season, and we're going to continue to do so no matter what happens in one particular game. I can't stand the goddamned defeatist attitude of so many State fans. And the fact that people rely way too much on this "underdog" mentality.

AMEN!!! We've already bestest most people's predictions of our team.... We still have 4 cupcakes left (BC, ECU, WFU, UMD).. We're highly likely to go to a good bowl game... Just relax and have a good time riding the wave of success. Even if we lose this game AND the FSU game, we're still going to go to a very nice bowl game and have a VERY nice season. If we lose this game that we were expected to lose pre-season and STILL expected to lose despite having better record/ranking, then oh well.

If we win, then HOLY SHIT! ZOMG! BATMAN!?!?! CHUCK NORRIS! I'M PARTYIN TONIGHT!

yeah, I was an undergrad during that 11-3 season, and each week it was like being on egg shells, b/c the student body was constantly wondering how long the streak could go.
