Ward has a few off nights every now and then, like any player would, but when the defense you put out in front of him only has one guy who I'd consider a top shut down guy (Gleason) its tough to expect Ward to look like he does in games like the last NYR one. That '06 defense had Wesley, Commodore playing the best hockey of his career, Ward/Hedican both playing great hockey right at the end of their usefulness, Kaberle's career year and Wallin.

^^^^top 10? From what I understand there should only be 4 goalies in the all-star game. So top 10 doesn't cut it as all-star. just my opinion of course, and again i'm not trying to insult ward, i love the hurricanes. just saying.

I'm thinking of getting a Skinner All Star Jersey. I like the white/red one...the blue looks too western conference-ish to me for whatever reason. It doesn't look like the NHL online shop is offering customization, but maybe the eye will do it.
