I was up 20 pts going into tonights game, I was done and dudeman has vick and Stl's kicker... I thought for sure I was donefer, but we penalize pretty good for turnovers and vick is sittingat 4 points! This could still be done!

3-0 this week. So glad I decided to start Burleson in one league and then bench him for Maclin in another.

also, as long as Aaron Hernandez's injury isnt too bad, I really think I might start him over Jermichael Finley this week.

OK, so how much should I be asking for Vince Young? The inevitable Vick injury occured sooner than even I expected. The only problem is that the guy who has Vick also has Schaub and Grossman, but it is a start 2 QB league, so guys like my roommate who are rolling out Tavaris Jackson and Luke McCown are going to start getting desperate.

I know a lot is dependent on how long Vick is held out and whether or not Young gets cleared to go on his injured hammy, but I'm thinking I can wrangle a WR2 out of this, which I need since Miles Austin just got injured.

What say you, people of sports talk?

What's the story with Steven Jackson? I am trying to find a replacement for Charles, and might offer Deangelo and J. Stewart for Jackson, but will he be coming back?

The team who has Jackson has absolutely no depth at RB or WR, so this might be a good deal for him.

Well no shit, it's not like he died.

The question is, will Vick owners be ok missing his production for the next 1-? weeks or will somebody be willing to trade for his backup, and not just for the short term but also as insurance against another concussion or injury later on this season.

It's not up to Vick or the Eagles when he comes back. He won't be back this week, almost guaranteed. Depending on severity he could miss considerable time, and one concussion does make it more likely that you get another one, and given the way he plays and the Eagle's o-line issues that's a hell of a risk to take if you're Vick owner.

It's hard to tell from just yesterday, but in the second half Hightower didn't get much work for WAS...Helu got most of the carries in the second half and played well. I assume this hurts Hightower's value going forward? He performed pretty well the first 2 games.

^^^If he is out, it will be against the giants, and that's probably it. That is not enough for anyone to give up power players for a guy that may or may not even play (keep in mind, young is banged up too- and not the QB in Tennessee for a reason). This is the same as anyone trying to make something happen for Kitna.


also, to say he won't be back, almost guaranteed is not correct... he wanted to come back, and player can come back the next week if cleared- the team trainer said he was "very far along" even as soon as the plane ride back to philly. If he is cleared, he will play, and it looks like this wasn't too bad a concussion (not Collie-esque).

What does everyone see Frank Gore's value being the rest of the year? Should I keep him? Should I try to trade him(if so, what is he worth?). My current RB's are AP, Gore, Matthews, Stewart. Only play 2 rb and no flex.

^I think he will be ok, as long as he is healthy. Personally, I would keep him and maybe try to sell high on Mathews...but if you can get something good for him in a trade, pull the trigger.

Still have my #1 WW priority in my 16-team PPR league, and I am tempted to burn it this week. Jerome Simpson, Danario Alexander and Roy Helu are all available. Thinking about getting Simpson since he has had 18 targets so far. My other bench WRs are Collie and Lance Moore, but it's hard for me to just cut them. I'd probably drop Kerry Collins from my bench for Simpson. Then again, I'd be without at backup QB for Bradford. Dalton, McNabb, Alex Smith and other possible sleepers in Kafka, Young and Gabbert are the only QBs that are available. Should I get Simpson with my waiver priority, and just worry about a QB after waivers clears?
