I like the clock you do every year, but are those the best logos you could find?

I was just using ESPN's logos... haven't touched that thing in like 5 years other than to quickly adjust game dates year to year. I'll make it look better

decent write up from CFN (yes, I know, everyone hates every site, they all suck) about the biggest questions for each SEC team going into 2012:

Quote :
"
Tennessee
Can a big passing game be enough to surprise in the SEC East? The program has been down over the last few years, but to go 5-7 and blow a chance at a bowl game by losing to Kentucky – and scoring seven points or fewer in five of the final seven games – wasn’t okay no matter what the excuses. However, things might quickly change with 19 returning starters including ten on offense. The team started struggling when quarterback Tyler Bray was lost for six games with an injured thumb and star receiver Justin Hunter went down with a torn ACL, but now all the parts are back including leading receiver Da’Rick Rogers for what should be one of the SEC’s most dangerous passing games. Big division games against Georgia and South Carolina are on the road, and Alabama is coming to Knoxville, but unlike last season, the Vols should have the firepower to keep up with anyone."

I pretty much agree, but the 10 returning starters on offense is a little misleading as it includes an offensive line that is pretty good at pass blocking, but for whatever reason, is horrible at run blocking. All the starters on the line are returning and they are up there with State for the most experienced O-line, but experienced shit is still shit.

^^Cool then. Start posting something about Southern Alabama. Or just something new about Tennessee. We are all well aware of how dominant your passing game was.

No reason to be ripping Jaybee over talking about UT in this thread right now. UT should have a pretty stud passing attack next season.

" N.C. State QB Mike Glennon was a pleasant surprise during the weekend. He has outstanding size and arm strength. With a compact delivery, he effortlessly drives the ball on comebacks, curls and digs. He does need to work on deep-ball accuracy, but he has plenty of arm strength to get it out there. This is a player on the rise heading into his senior season with the Wolfpack."

found out today that they'll be putting LED ribbon board all the way across the stadium on each side in place of the retired jerseys and bowl victories in time for the season.

This is a less credible rumor but I think it's true, making the front entrance four floors, with a compound for Debbie and another floor for offices, and a floor for a basketball museum? Also replacing all of the seats and making them permanent seats. So probably decreasing capacity.

Clown question comment .

The LED ribbon at C-F sounds nice, the Reynolds renovation sounds amazing. Should've happened a long time ago.

Yikes, I was feeling pretty optimistic going into this season until I saw us ranked #53 overall with a 6-6 (3-5 conf.) projected record.

I was thinking we'd get at least 8 wins. Obviously, projections for cfb are a little shaky, but you never wanna see one that bad... esp since UNC was so much higher

More Reynolds stuff: they'll be putting in A/C (finally) and moving the main bowl south to make room for these additional offices and stuff, lowering the capacity to 6-7,000ish, with all permanent seating. Hopefully that means a bigger videoboard.

Still all of this isn't confirmed, but it sounds legit to me.
