What is Southampton thinking?

I think that's pretty fair for Walcott. He's earned it, I think.

Sandro Looking at the bright side though, there's a good chance we'll bring in Holtby this window and this will also give Parker a chance to shine. I think Parker is going to have a fantastic second half to the season. He doesn't give up much defensively to Sandro and I think his creativity and passing range is a bit better, as well. Plus we'll know if Livermore is worthy of staying at the club before the end of the season with the appearances he's sure to make on occasion.

IDK about Southampton. I've heard that they've been planning this awhile and they wanted to be sure they got their target before they sack Adkins. I guess management just believes they're trading up and they want to go ahead with it. It seems similar to Spurs decision to sack Redknapp over the summer. It's not that they did a bad job, just the club thinks they can do better. Still a bit crazy though.

if a Premier League team signs Sneijder without getting him to cut his wages in half, they're fucking idiots.

No Arteta still

Arsenal turned the season around last year at Stamford Bridge. I don't see it today. 3-1 Chelsea.

Late game, I can see a draw. Spurs are playing well and United can't keep getting late goals every week away. 2-2.

I will take the draw. Should have pushed on and scored a second. Only major away match left is Arsenal now. 5 points ahead on city and as long as RVP is fit we will have a gap on city. City will have do without toure for a month, I expect them to drop more points.

Why would anyone be mad? United certainly wasn't the clearly better side worthy of a win. It was a fair result with very little to no questionable decisions.

SAF needs to go fuck himself

I hate Spurs and wanted United to win today but the only bad decision I can think of offhand was the missed very obvious shirt tug on Dembele which actually was in Uniteds favor.

love the anti-united people. Sir Alex does this every time. Why? To deflect attention, its called man management. Today he had a fair point too, it was a clear peno but the linesmen missed it and life goes on.... The haters have a field day with this stuff. I guess 25 years of winning everything does bring about a lot of bitterness....

It was a clear penalty, and I wanted to strangle the color guy for his repeated claims that it wasn't

Shinji manhandling Dembele back was hilarious though. didn't think he had it in him.

i think united gave up the impetus whne Cleverly went off for Tony V. He came on and didn't do a god damned thing. Certainly not the player he was last season.

I haven't seen one neutral anywhere claim a penalty on that play. All I've seen is just the opposite, in fact.

Yes we're so bitter

It's always something with that guy. When Spurs won at OT he went on and on about how much stoppage time their should have been and how the game needed to change throwing sour grapes at whoever would listen. Then today he attacks the line judge in a well officiated game where one call, that was right anyway, didn't go his way.

Fuck off Fergie. Take it like a man. Everyone else in the league does.

Not to mention shit like the stunt he pulled in the Newcastle match was WAY out of line. There's about a million other examples out there of these intimidation tactics and bullying he tries on referees constantly.

love the united dick suckers. Alex does this every time. Why? To be a bitch, its called being a bitch. Today he didn't have a point too, it was clearly not a peno but the linesman didn't flag like he was supposed to and life goes on. The dick suckers have a field day with this stuff. I guess 25 years of winning still hasn't helped you become a better loser when things don't go your way and it brings about a lot of bitterness....

Bahahaha, Sir Alex isn't half the arrogant man Bill Shankly was, just read some of his quotes. By culture, English managers are abrasive, get over it.

Good for Bill Shankly? I wasn't posting on TWW during his time.

Fergie is the best English manager of all time but he's a dick. I don't know how that's even debatable. Calling it "man management" or whatever is just excusing the fact that he's a sore loser.

The best way to be the best is by hating to lose. He is a dick but so are many other managers. Why does Sir Alex get singled out? I didn't hear a peep from anyway when Alan Pardew pulled his antics against the refs.... Also I love when Liverpool fans say it wasn't a penalty. There was more contact on it than any of Suarez' blatant dives.

Caulker doesn't touch the ball and clearly has his foot in front of Rooney's left foot. Of course the anti-united ones won't see it that way. United is a big team, every decision for us will be scrutinized to no end. Every decision against us and you will never hear a word of it. Not one analyst wanted to talk about the referring in the city derby, despite the fact that United had two very important decisions go against them. Had it been the other way around, you wouldn't hear the end of it. Love the double standard.

Go cry in your beer some more. Its hard to tell from that gif because it really gets fuzzy when Caulkers foot gets near the ball. I have seen less get awarded a spot kick does SAF have a reason to be mad I would say yes, but he does it so often people just roll their eyes. Get over it Manure fans you are still 5 points clear at the top.

In case you didn't realize I am not complaining about the penalty not being awarded. These things happen and some go for you and some go against. I am arguing about Sir Alex and how he did have a point and his way of getting people riled up.

Being an asshole post game and saying the assistant had a terrible game and didn't give United any calls isn't the same thing as just being disappointed a call didn't go your way.

This is the post match interview - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGGKeX8i7SU

I don't see anything wrong with what he said, or the tone. He only spent 15 secs blaming the official, and for 2 mins, he credits Tott with the draw, or how United didnt defend well.

Yes. But you know you are comparing apples to oranges.

When the United folks point out the decisions that went against us, we are told not to whine even in victory. We shoulda gone 3-0 against City with a goal wrongly ruled offside, thankfully it didn't cost us. Last week against Liv, we had a couple of bad decisions too. But who cares, we won.

I obviously think there is no consipracy in the Premier League(unlike Italy). The refs are just comically inept. The linesman already have a tough job on their hands already looking at offisde calls, on top of trying to determine if a player is active/passive makes them even more inept.
