It's good news and bad news with the Sunday ticket thing. If they are opening it up some more to various devices without DirectTV subscriptions, then they won't undermine that effort by packaging it with Madden again


Why offer it for $240, then also have the option to get it bundled with a $70 game. I do wish they did it again, though.

I did the demo on Xbox 360 and I found it overly difficult to even finish the tutorial (I like to think I'm not terrible) and a bug with the mana system. I selected manual land selection in settings - but could not select my mana on my own now matter what I tried and go continuously fucked by it. /kindanerdy

i ended up getting EA access for a year. it is really simple - you just download the app which has all the offers that you can sort though. when you select a vault game you want to download it takes you to the xbox store where you can install it for free and it downloads just like any other digital game.

discounts work the same way. i have already downloaded fifa, madden, and peggle 2.

Doing the EA Access for a month. So far Ive reinforced my suckiness at Madden and FIFA (Im terrible at all sports games in general) but have had fun with Battlefield 4. I dont know if I will renew or not.

How awful are onedrive videos for everyone? I thought there would be an immediate update once they released the functionality and it was terrible for everyone. Even today, they are basically unwatchable for me.

So I bought the disc version of battlefield 4 , therefore have needed the disc in to play it. I bought ea access and now I can play it without the disc in and I didn't even have to redownload anything.

kind of off topic, but is gamescom bigger than e3? seems like many more interesting and "bigger" announcements at this gamescom than at e3. maybe because its closer to the holiday season?

played a couple of games of madden 15 from ea access. it is actually pretty good. defense is fun and the graphics/presentation are 100 times better than last years garbage they put out.

I went to both this year. Gamescom was more important because there were actually titles somewhat playable by gamescom whereas most were just videos and tech demos at E3. E3 had more pageantry, but gamescom was much easier to get work done (separate conference area for industry folks). I think there were more halls at gamescom as well.
