Eagles defense is no joke, especially that front seven, so racking up all those yards on the ground was mighty impressive. Should have been 2+ TD game from the 1st quarter on, but mistakes kept it closer than it should have been. Hopefully we clean those up and get to 7-0 on MNF against the Colts.

The Panthers still haven't beat a winning team yet, and I've already stated how awful the 49ers are this year, so I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. I'd argue the Panthers win last night was more impressive than the Seattle win since I think the Eagles win is the closest thing to a win against a playoff bound team. I've also already stated that the Panthers are essentially a lock for the playoffs, so I'm not sure what you want me to say: congratulations for beating 6 teams without a winning record?

This. Ginn was a great signing before becoming our #1 WR, for the simple fact we never have to worry about him dropping a punt. I think people take that for granted this year without remembering the disaster that was Brown & Bersin trying to field a punt last year.

The fact that he's become a pretty good WR and our team's only deep-threat is just a bonus.

The fact that this team is 6-0 with an assortment of bargain bin talent at critical positions including LT and #1-3 WR is something to be excited about. Over the next couple seasons, we'll have Kelvin Benjamin back, the cap room to spend on some actual upgrades and not just stop gaps, along with all the young stars who've been carrying us the last few seasons. Unlike during the Fox/Delhomme era, this isn't flash in the pan success, we're built to dominate the NFC South and contend for championships for the next 4 -5 seasons.

The Panthers are currently #1 in the NFC because between Green Bay and Carolina, Carolina has the better strength of victory (SOV). Panthers are currently #2 in the NFL because of all the undefeated teams, the Panthers currently have the second strongest SOV, second only to New England.

That said, I'd argue green bay is still the better team right now, simply because they make fewer mistakes. If we play like we did last night, we're not beating GB. But we put together a much more complete game at seattle, so I think we've got a good shot.
