i don't get how people are content with spending 10 hours a day at a job. maybe if it was 4 10 hour days (like at a dentist office) i'd be down. but 6 9-10 hour days blows.

then you're like too tired to do anything after work everyday and on your one day off. by the time you get home and eat dinner you have like 2 hours to yourself because you have to wake up in 6 hours to repeat it all over

and what is the point of even having a nice house or anything because you never get to use it...you're always at work

no matter how many jobs i try, i always feel this way after awhile. it is so pointless. need to work in a dentist's office. 4 10 hour days is where it is at.

anyways, i don't get people that don't think about this kind of stuff and just accept that life is like 90% doing shit you don't want to do.

1. It helps if you like the work that you do
2. At some point, most people stop working jobs, and start working on a career. Shit gets real when it's YOUR work and YOUR name is attached to it, and if things go down the shitter, there's no one to blame but YOURSELF.
3. Honestly, if I'm busy at work, I don't really notice if I've been there for 9, 10, 11, etc... hours.

But yeah, sometimes, it does feel like I live at work, and take a break every day to come home and sleep.

p.s., I work a 9/80 schedule

Week 1:
M - 9 Hours
T - 9 Hours
W - 9 Hours
TH - 9 Hours
F - 8 Hours

Week 2:
M - 9 Hours
T - 9 Hours
W - 9 Hours
TH - 9 Hours
F - OFF

that is the thing though, i don't really want a career

i don't want to devote 30 years of my life to one thing and then look back and be like...well i did one thing really well! or well...at least i was consistent! or well....at least i had a steady income!

i dunno. it is hard for me to think of anything i'd want to do for like 5 years in a row. let alone the next 30.

i feel like something is wrong with me. i'm not lazy...i work hard, i just have yet to find something that doesn't make me feel like, why am i even doing this i'd much rather be outside/trying new food/traveling/meeting new people/going to the lake/park/museum/etc

and yea, when i'm busy i don't notice how long i've been there. but then when i come home i'm like damn, i spend seriously all my time at work. what is the point that just doesn't seem like living to me. like is it possible to find a job that doesn't make me feel like that? job/career/whatever.

yikes. that is how eric sprained his ankle recently. REALLY bad. been on crutches over a week now and his foot is still fat as shit.

prob won't be playing any bball again until the summer

Yeah, I've sprained my right ankle three times (it makes an awesome clickly noise when I walk) so I wear a brace every time I run anyway. My problem is if I go home to get my sneakers, I will realize that I'm home and be way too lazy to drive back down to the gym

I'll plug it in to my phone alarm so it tells me too.
