I think my boss is in the hallway every time I am walking back to my office with a glass of water, which is a bunch of times per day. He probably thinks that's all I do all day, walking back and forth with a glass of water.

i am so mad at myself. i hate the dentist - like high anxiety, therefore i put off going for.....5 years?!?! well i've always been good with my teeth, brushing multiple times a days, flossing, not eating sugar etc so i thought today should be okay but it's been a disaster. i was there for 2 hours and they didn't even clean my teeth! they did x-rays and realized i have pockets of plaque build up (in the hard to reach areas and also below my stupid permanent retainer) so now i have to go back 2 more times and they'll have to numb up half my mouth and then do some heavy duty cleaning. and they have to give me nitrous gas because i get such bad anxiety over the noises there.

and then when they're done with that i have to get 4 cavities filled.

moral of the story: go to the dentist every 6 months mmkay?

It's sad that I was happy to get gas for $3.09 a gallon this morning with Bi-Lo fuelperks.

Also sad that my wife and I can't carpool together anymore Same exact company and same campus but her hours are different than mine. For most of a year now, when she wasn't working crazy overtime, we could ride in together even with her different hours because they were flexible with her hours as long as she got her time in. Now her department is getting strict about actual time and not just hours worked. boo.

^^^^I wish I could carpool as well in the mornings since my gf's job is right across the street from mine, but my job starts strictly <8:00am and her store opens at 9am. That's not including that she will get scheduled at odd hours and often has to stay hours late due to customers, when my work day is 8:00am-5, 5:30pm

today was a 10 hour day. tomorrow will be at least 12. friday is going to be a freaking nightmare. saturday, probably a miniature nightmare. saturday night will either be go to bed at 7pm or get really, really drunk night. last weekend it was more like a pass out at 7pm night :/ totes lame. so over this week!!!

Girls can make decisions rather quickly if they can see themselves dating a guy long term.

I imagine Pat's date are as follows:

0 minutes to 30 minutes (of date starting): introduction, nervousness, basic chatter
30 minutes to 60 minutes: listening to the girl talk about her life, job, dog, etc
60 minutes: Pat realizes he is in love and starts daydreaming of their nuptials
60 minutes to 70 minutes: the girl sits across staring at Pat because he's off day dreaming and she's done talking
70 minutes to end of date: Pat snaps out of day dreaming of smashing the wedding cake in her face and realizes he has to find something quick to get the conversation going again. Shit! He knows! He'll talk about the environment and cars!
