I don't have the game tape, so I'm not gonna argue about specific plays, but what I saw was a player who was basically scoring at will for 3-4 minutes straight and was getting burnt no worse than any of our other players on the defensive end. He got pulled for an average senior guard who did basically exactly what he has done for his entire career. Make a boneheaded play at a crucial juncture in the game and play terrible defense.

I actually like Javi and I root for the guy, but when I saw him come in I was yelling WTF? at the TV. I also like and support Lowe. I don't necessarily agree that this year is tourney or go for him, but I have always had beef with his substitutions.

One last thought on tonight from me. The reason I'm most upset with the loss is that this is the exact type of game that could get us over the hump come March.

It is a road game that was tied late with us having every chance to win it. It's even more disappointing that we lost because chances are Boston College is going to be one of the teams we would be fighting for that last NCAAT spot with.

To constantly let games like this slip through our hands knowing we are going to need it later in the year is what gets the emotions going...
