they passed a law (don't know if it was state or county) that said it is illegal to leave a dog tied up outside for more than 4 hours out of a given 24 hour period (meaning you can't leave a dog chained up while you go to work)

that's really cool...my eagle project was a pretty run-of-the-mill trail clearing...i did have an i-beam bridge, though, and we had the iron beams dropped off with a helicopter

my friends and i were trying to figure out how people were able to secure the big beams for these things...i mean, you can't pour concrete to set them in the swamp, so what did you do? how'd you get them set?

Woahz, a group of three attack helicopters were hovering over my house just a min ago for about 2 mins. They were like 500 ft high and shook the whole house. crazy. Never seen them this low or linger around before.

I don't remember, honestly. I believe the county parks & rec department had hired the engineers and had the pilings set up for us when we got started. He just had to arrange funding for the materials to build the bridges/platforms and get them built.

He built a full on adirondack, so being one of the older boys at the time, I learned far more about roofing than I ever wanted to.
