If it's your parents' house I can't really see the legality of giving you a ticket (but of course I am pulling that out my ass) because you can still be reached there and lots of younger people still consider that home until they are more long-term established.

Just finished "Mercy" on Netflix. I knew that they cancelled the show after the first season. And I knew that they did not "wrap it up" in the end leaving it as a cliff hanger (originally supposed to have another season). But holy fuck that pisses me off the way they left it!! fuck fuck fuck I wanna know wanna happens!!

i got stung by one when i was in vietnam. no joke. i only found out AFTER THE FACT that it could have been really dangerous. luckily, i clearly didn't die.

it hurt so so so so so so so so SO SO SO SO SO SO so freaking bad. in the middle of the jungle. NO first aid kit. well, someone had spray benadryl that i used. and our tour guide had tiger balm, which apparently is the remedy for every ailment in asia. have a sting? use tiger balm. bug bites? tiger balm. rash? tiger balm. muscle cramp? tiger balm. that and coconut oil (another fav remedy). all went onto my potentially deadly sting.

the GOOD news is my friend, who is allergic (deathly) to bees and the like was standing right next to me. she brought her epipen to 'Nam but NOT into the jungle where there are actual things that sting you so it is really lucky that i got stung and not her. but it hurt *REALLY* bad. stung in the calf. couldn't even walk...my muscle hurt so bad. hopped around on one leg for awhile. and then it'd feel ok for a little, then a really bad burning sensation would come back...felt like i was getting stung all over again. it hurt for days. DAYS.

it took me awhile when i got back to the united states to figure out the culprit. i was like, that was NOT a bee. it was giant and looked like a tiger. i kept googling things like "killer bee" and "tiger bee" until i finally figured out what it was.

NOT A FAN.
